A healthy Cavs team with Joe Johnson would be my pick to win the championship.

I would be very happy if Indiana takes back Young and we sign a small forward like Gerald Green or Dorell Wright with the room exception.GT: assassinK24Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
My brother got a notification for it in his phone while we were driving. I googled, apparently it was Windhorst, so it's mostly likely just something he made up lol.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Looks like the rumor has come to fruition
The Cleveland Cavaliers are considering trading for Brooklyn Nets star Joe Johnson with their Brendan Haywood contract chip, sources told ESPN.com.
If it goes down, Dan Gilbert is going to have one hefty luxury tax (not that it matters to him..)Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Joe is only under contract for one year, while Varejao is over paid for a few more. I like the move for Cleveland, though I'm not sure Johnson is exactly what they need but so far nobody else bit on the Haywood contract.
Would have been excellent if they would have decided this a couple weeks ago. Brooklyn basically gave Plumlee away to Portland, Cleveland might could have swung him into the deal somehow. Thompson and Plumlee off the bench would have been nasty.
Not sure what the advantage for Brooklyn is here though. Joe is gone after this year anyways, so it's not like the extra cap room wasn't coming to them regardless. Unless they feel they can get good use out of Varejao.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Glad we were able to move Hibbert out of here, too much of a head case and it looks like finally even Vogel who sees positive in everything had enough of having to handle Roy with care hoping they didn't hurt his feelings. Not that Roy was all to blame for the poor play down the stretch in 14 and in the playoffs, but his play was wasn't horrible.
I just hope we don't get Nick Young back in the deal, not sure who would be worse Hibbert being a mental case or Nick Young low basketball IQ,lol.
I do wish Hibbert well, he was always out in the community and was a nice guy, but his play never did come together after having a good playoff run in 13 and signing that big contract.
My guess is we are getting draft picks back as there really isn't any Laker currently that I want on my team.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
If it happens it'll be interesting to see how Joe handles being a 4th scoring option. I guess if he wants a ring he'll shut up and fit in lol.
He would be huge for them as a scoring punch when LeBron sits, which he could do much more often with Joe around.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Not a fan of getting Lou Williams, we need a SF in the worst way. Guessing we rolling with Russy/Clarkson/Kobe? Hibbert better be ready to make all his 15.5 million this season.Comment
