Yeah I'm not really sure the trade makes sense if they can just re-sign JR. I'd have to think about this one, is Crawford's contract expiring?

I'm sure this is his last year.

He's just more dead weight to the Clippers than he would be in Cle since he'd get less minutes.

Do spurs still need a Center?

Yeah, I wouldn't mind picking Ayres back up since he's familiar with the system

Leave some free agents for the rest of the league man. Greedy *** trying to sign everybody, even the low tier guys, who you think you are a Laker fan

I wonder why the Spurs kept Green instead of Splitter.

I mean everything they do works out, but Splitter is a pretty solid big at a position that they need and isnt he cheaper than Green?

Greens more reliable health wise and a lot more important to what we do on both sides of the floor

Just look at what happened to the Hawks when they didn't have their best 3 point shooter in the rotation.

Made more sense schematically to keep Green over Splitter.

This doesn't feel like real life picking up free agents

Technically no as he's a free agent, but I would think we'd have some interest in signing him again for another year, but who the hell knows with this front office. Last I heard though, he was participating in the NBPA Broadcasting development class with A'mare and a few other guys preparing for life after basketball.
