How do you know they aren't talking to anybody? Aren't you the same one that's been saying since last Wednesday that LMA was holding up FA for the guys that are going to sign all the mid level and vet min deals? Teams literally work the phones all the time. Aren't you the same one that's always calling out all the NBA reporters for not having sources and so and now because they aren't talking about any calls the Bulls have made that means they're literally not calling anybody or trying to sign anybody?

Look at the deals that have gotten done since Wednesday. Look at the money those deals have been for. Who out of that group were the Bulls supposed to sign with no money? They need a backup point guard, word is they have interest in Lin (eww but whatever), they were interested in Stuckey and JJ, but they're both gone and missing on JJ was great since they need to stay away from all these small guards every year anyway.

I don't understand how we're sitting here bitching about a team "not making any moves" when they don't have any money to do it and no takers on any trades they'd be willing to make even if they just said **** it and blew it up.

I agree about there offense, but was that really a personnel problem? Im sorry but between rose, butler, pau, dunleavey, mirotic and brooks they shouldve had enough scoring. what hurt them was not enough shot making period. mirotic who had practically carried them during one stretch of the season went cold in the playoffs, brooks who had been making shots all year suddenly couldnt hit the ocean from the beach, dunleavy was streaky, and pau saw too many double teams to be effective outside of a few games and was hurt the rest of the time. i dont really think theres any recent fa who couldve made a real difference on that end besides maybe aldridge. but its not like chicago couldve got someone like him.

Mo Williams is a nice get...big upgrade over knucklehead Smith..

The Cavs are loading up big time. Once LeBron's hostage act is over, Dan Gilbert will probably owe, according to the interview I watched today on ESPN (so must be true right?), about $200 million for next season alone, with both salaries and luxury tax penalty.

During that MVP year though and prior, when he pulled up for a jumper inside the arc it seemed like it was always going in.

I'm not getting deep into the Rose back and forth again so I'm not really going to elaborate.

But yes, he did have a killer mid-range pull up and he had a nasty floater.

Early indications are Cavs likewise have NOT abandoned JR Smith pursuit. They seem intent on keeping whole band together. And adding to it

Honestly is this not what Gilbert was loudly complaining about other teams doing?

Mogotti back in Cleveland...hell yeah! Hope they still end up with JJ, dump JR Smith, lure Ray Allen out of retirement, and sign Tayshaun Prince for the vet minimum and call it good.

Mo Williams is exactly the type of player they needed. Didn't have to be Mo, but Brooks, Mills, Neal, etc.. They needed that type of player.

Should be a much better fit this time around, when he isn't the 2nd best offensive player on the entire roster lol.

Now just ditch that Haywood contract for someone serviceable.

No, he was upset that the Lakers could be getting a great player and then still saving money. He's writing the checks and paying the tax

Yeah but he was salty cause he lost LeBron to a superteam. It's different when you're the one who has the ability to make a superteam too.

To round it out, might as well try and lure Amar'e to Cleveland for the vet minimum. Hey if David West can do it, so can Amar'e.

Amar'e, Mogotti, and Ray Allen would all be terrible signings on the defensive side of things though...lol.

Ray's defense is just so bad now though. Yeah he hits the open looks he gets but he gives up double that at the other end. He looked done his last year with Miami.

If the Johnson trade happens I would rather them find a back up big than Prince. Just an emergency guy or someone you really only need for 3-5 minutes a night. Give a guy like Okafor a shot since nobody else is signing his ***. Prince ain't getting no minutes with LeBron, Johnson, Jones, Miller all on the roster anyways.

Can Prince still D up or is he done? I feel he could fill in for Marion but maybe actually play if needed?
