I really think if OKC is healthy they can come out of the West. Even with GS, SA, LAC, and HOU being pretty loaded.

They need wing players to take the pressure off paul and jordan. But the next Sgs and Sfs haven't developed

Definitely. Got to believe Durant and Westbrook are ready for a big run too.

Yeah, Brooks relied on the talent of Westbrook, Durant and Ibaka (as well as washed up veterans) too often. Like you said, we'll see if Donovan can get more (proficient) production out of Adams, Kanter, Waiters and Roberson. They definitely have the talent even with little changes this off season (personnel wise) but they are like the Clippers (a little further ahead) and need to take the next leap.

We should probably be prepared to not see Donovan's influence until his second season...hard to install and offense/break bad habits in a summer

Hard to imagine any new offense which won't depend a lot on Westbrook and Durant's playmaking.

Don't see them running Durant through double baseline picks over and over again, as opposed to getting him the ball at the elbow and letting him shoot over smaller defenders or drive on bigger ones.

Coaches change but the star players keep getting the same kind of touches they're used to getting.

Who did they have to give up, though?

@WojYahooNBA: Sources: As part of deal for Ty Lawson, Houston will send Kostas, Pablo Prigioni, Joey Dorsey, Nick Johnson and a protected first to Denver.

@WojYahooNBA: From Houston to Denver, that includes forward Kostas Papanikolaou.

Nice package going to Denver all things considered. Joey Dorsey!!

Well, no. Depends on the first's protection.
