Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Going bac to okc for a minute if billy d works out, its okc and the spurs tied for the 2 best teams, then gsw, then the clips, then houston. And to whoever compared them to the clips can you elaborate on the comparison. Cuz experience wise the thunder have been farther in the playoffs more times than the clips, and the small moves they made were only cuz they acquired so much depth at the deadline. All they really had to do was resign guys. I just wanna understand the comparison.
Oh and my 2 cents on houston getting ty, i think its a great move to make. But lawson is gonna have to improve his 3pt shooting a bit. I think this move keeps them where there at as far as 4 or 5th best in the wild west(rhymin accidentally) but its because the teams ahead of them just keeping getting better as well.
I think they just meant both good teams that need to take the next step.
I think it's a little early to put an order to those 5 teams, because they are all good. And even though I said I believe Durant and Westbrook could go on a tear and knock off one of the other teams I think it's a little far fetched to put them over them right now. Rookie coach and the worst bench of the bunch. But they still have two of the top 5 offensive threats in the league. So that can always make up for slack elsewhere.
Hopefully Ty won't need to work on his 3.. It's not bad now anyways considering he's never gotten open looks like he should this year.. But ideally it should put Harden in more off ball situations rather than constantly poorly executed isos.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Top 6 is still locked in the west, I'm not sure if the Clipps, Rockets, and Grizzlies have improved to the point they surpass GS, SA, and OKC though. Still a guessing game up top and 7 and 8 are up in the air as well in what seems like the first time in years.Comment

Way too early but these are my Playoff picks for next season:
East: Cavs, Heat, Bulls, Hornets, Wizards, Raptors, Bucks, Hawks
West: Warriors, Rockets, Clippers, Grizzlies, Pelicans, Spurs, Thunder, KingsComment

Safe to say the Hornets and Kings will be 8th seeds in their respective conferences right?Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
right?! lol. This has been the most dysfunctional franchise for the last 10 years running and still have unsolved drama as we speak between coach and star. I'd hold off on them being a playoff team just yet.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Yeah, they're a terrible franchise. I don't think Portland is gonna be as bad as everyone's saying, and the Suns are still better. I'd even take the Mavs over the Kings, even after the Deandre Jordan Summer Heartbreak lol.Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
It's only a prediction guys.
I mean a lot can happen from now until April.
Aside from the internal issues, the one thing that swayed my vote in favor over the likes of Dallas, Phoenix or even Utah is that this team has depth. Obviously they have the biggest question mark and a lot of things have to click for it to work but I always like to throw in a wildcardComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
They have depth but they also need to be able to fit together and have chemistry. That's the main thing for me and with the strong personalities they have on that team it's kind of hard to see how it'll all work out.Comment

I just wonder if people will be willing to give him a chance off the bat if he struggles or the team doesn't start out as fast as people think it should, especially with it being KD's contract year...#RespectTheCultureComment

If they come out on fire and clicking under him, expect plenty of throwing Brooks further under the bus and backing it up over his skull. "SEE!!! Brooks is god awful. Anybody could have come in and lead this team better than him." In the words of Terrell Owens, just "get your popcorn ready."Comment
