It's been a blockbuster summer of trades for the lakers. Their last addition ? Jonathan Holmes.

Which is why he's 3rd on the list. He isn't the draw he once was, but he's still a big enough draw to warrant national games, especially in what could be his swan song season (check how many national games the 02 Wizards had). The interest in the Lakers is more due to the youth movement they have going and the fanbase is dying to see them develop. Hell, it's obvious, just look at Minnesota who has 5 national games (when was the last time that happened). The first game of the season is on ESPN against none other than Minny who sports the last 3 number one overall picks. The league knows the demand is there for these young guys now since they have so much buzz coming out (they did the same thing in SL when Minny and LA played first and it was crazy packed).

Greg Oden To Sign With Jiangu Dragons
              What could've been.......

Blazers Big 3 of Aldridge,Roy,Oden surely would've made them a 50-60 win team. Too bad what happened with Oden for them, and even more with Roy. In the end, I think Sam Bowie actually had the better career.

He needs a new agent. He turned down a 2 year deal to play for Celtics last year(surely getting much more than the minimum) and instead signs a minimum deal this offseason for 2 years where only 1 is guaranteed...

I hate to be mean, but nah, no way. No casual fan gives a plug nickle about the Raptors. Team in Canada, no superstar players, means complete indifference.

Only hardcore fans can affect nonchalance about the Lakers. Casual fans want to see them still, because they either love them or hate them, no fence sitters.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Derozan is viewed as a star by most NBA fans.

                      I don't know why, though.

For those who use PPG as their statistic of choice he's quite a stud. Hope we don't extend him.

DeRozan is more name than he is actual player i'd say, but he's still pretty good. He's just playing the wrong role currently. I see him kind of like how Iggy was back in Philly. He'll never be that star people want him to be but he'd be a hell of a complimentary player with the right squad.

No I don't think so. He's a good player but not a star. You could say he's a star at his position but that's bc theres a drought of quality 2's out there.

I don't see DeRozan as a star, but obviously see him as a good player. He shouldn't be a #1 option on a team, but for sure I see him as a solid #2 option. With Raptors having him and Lowry as basically 1 and 1A type of thing,it's basically in the middle of that. Though he was headed to ASG last year before that injury.

And speaking of Raptors, apparently they're slightly linked to being one of destinations for Markieff Morris...On court I wouldn't mind him at all(though unfortunately,it'd mean Patterson is gone), but seems like way too much going on off court which could just hurt the team.

Though Ujiri played family card big time when bringing Carroll to Toronto, maybe he might do same again and reunite Morris brothers in Toronto?
