Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
It wouldn't shock me if the Bucks were looking at Monroe to play C. He'd fit the age of the rest of the team better than Lopez and Chandler. What's a better way to ensure Monroe hits FA than to give Detroit his replacement?Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
The only thing I can think of is that they were saying those were the young guys that led them to 41 wins and Jabari was hurt for most of it. Idk.
Regarding the Lopez/Chandler rumors, I could definitely see Lopez even though the nets were better under Kidd without him. He has the skills I think Kidd is looking for in his center and would be a nice complement to Henson at that position.
I can't really see it with Chandler but who knows.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Non surprising, good news for Hornets Fans
Facing a Monday deadline to invoke the final remaining season on his contract or opt for free agency, Charlotte Hornets big man Al Jefferson is staying right where he is, according to his agent.
Jeff Schwartz, Jefferson’s longtime agent, told ESPN.com he will formally notify the Hornets that his 30-year-old client will delay his next foray in free agency for one more year.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Ehh. Now if Gerald Henderson opts in like I expect, we'll have zero cap space to go after any 3 point shooting... which means this poorly constructed roster will stay a poorly constructed roster.
Hopefully Big Al can get back in shape and he has a repeat of his first year here.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Tough break and I feel bad for the guy. He's pretty funny on Twitter. Seems like the traditional C position is pretty much dead at this point. This would also completely **** the 76ers re-building plan. Karma for their excessive tanking?Comment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Injuries are one thing and it's out of his control and sad for a young NBA talent but what about his work ethic ? didn't he get fat and seemed kind of lazy during his rehab ?
Randle breaks his leg 40 minutes into his first game of his first NBA season and he's in better shape today than he was before.Comment

I had basically stopped paying attention to the search, but in case it's news: Mike Malone hired as the Nuggets coach.
Yeah, there's been conflicting reports. Another Philly guy tweeted that philly is still collecting information and surgery is still on the table.
