And Butler can't? Pretty sure we've already seen that at least once these playoffs.Comment

Kyrie is fun to watch at times but it isn't good basketball. The iso dribbling for 10-15 seconds then taking a wild jump shot doesn't get me excited as a basketball fan. It produces a highlight reel play every now and then but meh.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Games 4 and 5 will decide this series. We need this one bad, and will play desperatly enough to win. We should have a different pick and roll defense tonight, and i dont expect us to give up 100. Bullets play good defense also so i expect a game in the 90s.Psn: Alabamarob

I don't think it's a dumb statement at all. He didn't say Kyrie wasn't good basketball all the time. He said he was fun to watch at times, but it isn't good basketball. That one sequence where he was out on the perimeter dribbling then the double came and then a third guy and he kept dribbling and then hit the crossover, drove around the three of them and tossed up the off balance layup that went in. That **** was sick to look at, but it was basketball stupid. I even commented around that play that if THAT'S what Kyrie is going to rely on doing to do damage, then I'll take that all day for this series.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
LOL this Thibs thing is completely out of control at this point with these reporters. Obsessed with getting rid of Thibs? Really? Bugging offices? Really?
CLEVELAND – Outside the coach's office, there was life within the eyes of Tom Thibodeau. The possibilities percolated. For three years, the coach of these Chicago Bulls has come to the Eastern Conference playoffs with a battered roster bereft of Derrick Rose. For three years, they wondered whether they would ever be whole again, whether management's obsession with ousting Thibodeau would ever let him, let these players, make one more run for everything.
"They sense that you don't get these opportunities all the time," Thibodeau told Yahoo Sports late Monday. "You've got to make the most of them. These guys are starting to build a chemistry. Whatever our circumstances are, we've got to go.
"This is it."
As Rose makes an inspired return to a playoff stage that desperately missed him, Thibodeau is pushing closer to the end of his run here. This wasn't on his mind on Monday after a 99-92 Game 1 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers; only winning. Only the opportunity now. Rose is becoming Rose again, slowly, surely, but the progression's unmistakable. It changes everything for Chicago, except this: Amid the twisted culture of Chicago's regime – where winning is losing, where success is failure – management can't wait to rid itself of one Tom Thibodeau.
For everything Chicago management does to undermine the coach, this Bulls locker room has remained something rare in professional sports: unaffected and unrelenting.Comment

You could consider a lot of things players do "bad basketball" to be honest....players have made careers off of skillsets you could consider "bad basketball"...it's all about how efficient you are at doing so and how it effects your team. In the case of Kyrie last night, and how he's been much of the year...it sparked a big run for his team.Comment

Not only has this turned into the Bulls forum, the bulls posters are funny and remind me of D-Rose, low bball IQ.
PS: What's the point of the Eastern playoffs this year? Shouldn't we crown the Warriors after they beat the Clippers?Last edited by Thelorn; 05-05-2015, 01:13 PM.If flopping was rewarded in real life as it is in the NBA, I’d swerve into guard rails each time someone changed lanes in front of me. - Alan HahnComment
