Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
Why is this even being discussed this thoroughly? When did OS turn into ESPN? Nobody is knocking Kyrie, or calling him a bad basketball player or anything like that. However if he's going go into one on two or one three situations breaking out his And-1 mixtape moves to beat them and overwork himself to take a low percentage shot as opposed to working the ball around and getting everyone else involved, then be our guest. As a Bulls fan I'll live with that happily.
Kobe does the same nonsense and we blast him for it no problem. Kyrie does it and people are flipping out like we said dude is mentally Javale McGee or somebody.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
If he makes it, great. As King said, if that is what it's going to take for him to get his then we will take that all series long. No one here is saying he is a bad basketball player, as dramatic and butthurt as you want to be, but he's had stretches where he goes into Kobe mode his whole career. Now all of a sudden people, you included, are somehow shocked when we point it out and call it bad basketball? Does the criteria of bad basketball change when a team goes from sub .500 to a championship contender?
Although switching your point of view is something that we are all accustomed to at this point.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Yeah, and also give up 40 to the guy he is guarding.
Kyrie is fun to watch at times but it isn't good basketball. The iso dribbling for 10-15 seconds then taking a wild jump shot doesn't get me excited as a basketball fan. It produces a highlight reel play every now and then but meh.
Yet somehow everyone loved watching Curry do it

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
My argument, is that the kid is only 23 years old. Of course he'll make a ton of bad decisions. We might as well sit here and nitpick Anthony Davis too while we're at it. It's also Kyrie's first taste of being on a really good team.
He also takes a ton of bad shots because he's their second best player and second best scoring option. There are some nights when he's their FIRST scoring option. When you're feeling it, or the team is looking for you to score, your team becomes one dimensional and mistakes will happen. This is something that takes time to figure out at the NBA level. It doesn't happen overnight. It happens to ALL young superstars.
Damn, I can't believe I'm sticking up for Cavs players and their fans. Sweet Jesus....Comment

He played through it and looked fine but what I'm hearing is that he's got some swelling and is actually probably farther from 100% than Beal. But both should be playing.Comment
