God, that was awful shot selection there by schroeder, and then I thought it was all set up for another dagger for Pierce. Atlanta squeaks by, but they made it quite interesting.

Refs just screwed Washington twice on the same possession. Should have been a travel on Korver there and then they took like twenty damn minutes to call the intentional on Millsap.Comment

Gotta think Washington can carry some of that momentum they had over the last 2 mins into the Atlanta, the same way Atlanta did with their comeback into tonight.#RespectTheCultureComment

Great game Hawks..had us chasing the whole game...good stuff to y'all..., man, I thought Pierce had that 3, really missing John defensively though, Teauge has went off on us since he's been hurt.
AND AGAIN..we getting out rebounded and out hustled..but we keep our best rebounder and hustler on the bench..Hump can keep up with Milsap and battle with him, Hawks shot lights out and we lose by 3
must win in ATL...we really needed this one thoughWashington Redskins

I didnt think Bynum did that bad. Schroeder is hard to stay in front of no matter what you do and for some reason they are continuing to defend the pick and roll by going over the pick. They need to adjust or Teague and Dennis are going to run them out of the series.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I would have to find some time for him, I like nene, and I know Whitt likes nene, but i think Hump could give you what Nene is giving you plus me... We need defense out here, we can score with these guys, just having trouble on the defense, they found something with the 2 guard system with Dennis and Jeff..and Plus Hump runs a little better then Nene and defend he pick and roll better...
All and all..I think Hump can match up well enough with Milsap to atleast contest him, because tonight, he did what he wanted to do
With the Hawks shooting lights out like they did...we lost this game by them getting 2nd chance pts and us turning the ball over..can't do that against a good team like the Hawks who takes advantage of everything.Washington Redskins

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
After tonight's game, the top 3 defensive teams in the NBA Playoffs are the Bulls, Grizzles, and...the Cavaliers.
Pretty incredible for a team that was thought to be quite bad on defense, they have been holding teams down on the defensive end. In fact, they are 2nd in Opponent FG%, behind the Bulls.
And it's mostly being done because Mozgov, Tristan and LeBron are playing incredible defensive basketball right now.Too Old To Game Club

I don't know, a LeBron chase down block or like a strip and ridiculous outlet pass or coast to coast jam is worth like 3 or 4 days worth of Sportscenter highlights as opposed to someone beating him on D.Comment

Nene was aight but Gortat was HORRIBLE. Not only could he not finish around the rim but he was trying to compensate for it with hustle resulting in loose ball fouls.
On a side note, after his rookie deal is up Schroder will getting paid somewhere. His improvement from Year 1 to Year 2 is like night & day. For a young PG, he's already learned how to play at different speeds, much like Teague.Comment
