Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
This series has changed my impression of dc. You guys are much better offensively then i thought, because i already knew you could play defense. I had no idea you guys could shoot the three at this rate and percentage. Double digit threes almost every game is impressive. I still believe we will in 6, but i was completely wrong about this series.
And Taj definitely kicked out at Dela for locking up his leg. Dela should have gotten a T but Taj deserved to get kicked out.Comment

He originally said there was a sudden physical issue he didn't want to talk about...he changed it up in this next interview but a couple of people ran with it.....thought it was funny....
Hey we've all been there before, lolComment

This. Beal is no longer settling for long 2s. Plus with Pierce at the stretch 4 it leads to more open threes.Comment

Hey I'm always here to defend what wouldn't matter in any other game, any other series, vs. any other player, but just cause "LeBron" issues lol.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
Time for a Altimus cameo post...
Last night's game had me FUELED but let's start first with the Taj incident. It looked a lot more violent then it really was. Refs should gave them both a double T and we move on and play ball. Instead, Delly gets nothing and it turns into a big momentum swing (even though Bulls were already on the down) + 2 free throws + the ball back and Taj is gone. I hate to say this decided the game but it had a HUGE impact on the game regardless that Chicago fought back to almost tie\win.
What fueled me even more though is what C-Webb touched on that Bulls seem to only play more freely when there is a urgency/desperation time. Killed us in game 4 and now in game 5. Half court sets with no real design or purpose. Pau not being there is a huge problem for a team that has relied on him all season more then anyone else. Everything bogs down and it's more then likely someone putting up a forced shot. Pau was 1B on offense and his presence is sorely missed. Especially since the Bulls do not have a JR Smith or even a Shumpert.
Niko has looked less like a Spanish League MVP and more of a 2nd round bust. They needed him last 2 games to step up with his offensive production and he hasn't done it at all. So many missed open shots, beyond frustrating. Last night he had a mismatch on JR in the block and all he did was throw up a weak hoop.
Game 6 is winnable but there are a lot of unknowns. Rose's shoulder\wrist and the impact of that. Pau's status. A possible looming suspension of Taj. If Pau does not play and Dunleavy and Niko do not step up then we will stay home.
The last 2 games have been beyond tough watching because you're right there every time. 1 play in each game separates this series from being 4-1 right now; thing is Cavs made that 1 crucial play.Comment

Re: the skirmish, I thought both Taj & Dellavedova should have gotten techs and then move on. No need to toss Gibson there, especially in a playoff game. Compounded with the fact that Dellavedova got nothing? Even after looking at the replay? Amazing to me..."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Omg, Alt is alive!
The ejection was ridiculous though, and the fact that it is being reviewed is even more ridiculous. If he gets a suspension for that, I give up. Changes our rotations, and changes the series completely.Last edited by JODYE; 05-13-2015, 01:29 PM.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

I was semi-paying attention after the incident but didn't Chicago go on like a 19-5 run after Taj was tossed?"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
It's not like they just ejected him for no reason. It was ruled a flagrant 2, I would love to hear how a kick isn't unnecessary and excessive contact.. That's the rule of a flagrant 2.

What the ruling was, and what it actually was are two vastly different things in this instance.
He didn't kick him man, cut that **** out. He was trying to get his foot out and Dellavedova off him.Last edited by JODYE; 05-13-2015, 02:23 PM.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles
