This kid Jordan Mickey out of LSU looks pretty good early. Like his effort on defense. Looks to have a decent mid-range jumper too.

Aggressive Dante Exum is good Dante Exum. Hoping to see him be more aggressive and look to attack more on pnr's, although Smart basically shut him down in the 1st quarter. Hope to see more Bryce Cotton and James Young in the second half.Arsenal Gunners|Kentucky Wildcats|Cincinnati BengalsComment

Jazz commentators were awful. Focused on their team 95% of the telecast. Can't do that when your Summer League is being broadcast nationally.Comment

Re: 2015 Summer League Thread
James Young looks to have improved. The added muscle he picked up showed when crashing the boards.
Rozier looked alright from what I can remember. His quickness is what stood out to me.
Biggest thing that jumped out at me other than Jordan Mickey having a jumper was RJ Turner's lack of quickness. He looked really slow out there. And he certainly needs to get stronger.Comment

Marcus Smart was also in mid-season form last night with a dumb flagrant foul and a flop. Other than that and his horrible finishing he still had a pretty solid game. It seems like he could create some easy chances if he would post up some smaller guys, especially when Exum was guarding him.Arsenal Gunners|Kentucky Wildcats|Cincinnati BengalsComment

Re: 2015 Summer League Thread
Okafor looked fantastic in the second half yesterday. I was really impressed with him facing up and attacking off the dribble. If he can hit shots around the free throw line with some consistency he's going to be almost unstoppable. Reminded me a little of LaMarcus Aldridge especially when he would use 1 or 2 dribbles right at his guy to create contact and fade away.
Anyone know if D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle are both playing for the Lakers squad?Arsenal Gunners|Kentucky Wildcats|Cincinnati BengalsComment

Re: 2015 Summer League Thread
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure he played the 3 a lot last year. If they are going to play a combination of IT, Smart, Bradley and Rozier he'd have to. It doesn't really make a difference seeing as he can't guard most 2's or 3's. He's raw but he needs minutes and needs to be able to play through mistakes on both ends. He definitely needs some space and freedom to chuck some shots to be successful on offense.Arsenal Gunners|Kentucky Wildcats|Cincinnati BengalsComment
