So I'm a bandwagoner because I like the Warriors style and enjoy watching them play?

Why the heck should I watch any basketball game then? I'm just an NBA bandwagoner. Day to day jumping around to watch and enjoy the teams that play good, smart basketball.

Seriously. The hate for the Warriors is real.

The closest the Spurs got to a bandwagon is when everyone hated Miami and wanted to talk about 'team ball' and how we 'played the right way' because we smashed them in the Finals, lol

Rihanna never came and watched us though :-(

Y'all had Eva Longoria out there during that mid 00s run though...

Hell, we've been average since we got to Brooklyn but we've had almost every big name celebrity at our games.

If you wanna watch the Warriors that's fine. That's not bandwagonning that's just watching basketball lmao don't try to get offended.

But people who decided they were Warriors fans circa 2013 are bandwagon bandits. Especially how they fill out arenas in places across the country now, it's not a coincidence.

Who am I to judge? I'm a Cavs fan from England. Only difference is it was the loss to the Spurs in 2007 that made me interested in them.

who cares about bandwagoning honestly. if someone wants to be a fan of a team whenever they want because they're a good team then how does it affect you?

They're no different than the Cavs Fans that magically reappeared last year(and are still there until Lebron decides to go somewhere else)when it was just 2 years ago, they were Heat Fans.

Warriors have been top 10 or around it in attendance for a while now....their fans support their team regardless.

and of course when your team plays the world champions, attendance is going to go up....as will the ticket prices, appearances...this isn't new thing..

We didn't have many celebs front row at the UC or Chicago Stadium when Jordan was playing. Definitely were there when the played the Lakers in LA but they weren't there for our home games and road games against the Warriors or Clippers lol.

Why people being so sensitive all of a sudden? Wasn't even talking about bandwagons I was just saying how crazy it was that we've reached a point where the celebs are out in force for a Clippers/Warriors game in November. That's usually reserved for Laker games at Staples, the Knicks at MSG or LeBron's Heat games in Miami.

                              Which people are being sensitive?

And the last part about celebrities isn't true. I could on about that, but it'd be such a silly issue to have a discussion about on here, lol

Because it's not just the fans but also the media. All they cover is a couple of teams in particular a majority of the time and ignore the rest. It gets annoying after a while.

The other problem is the lack of hometown spirit. I'm a lifelong Clippers fan, and it doesn't feel good going to a game at Staples and most of the attendance is rooting for the other team. Especially after decades of losing and now we're finally a contending team. It's a weird dynamic here in LA though, most Laker fans HATE the Clippers so there's no way they'd join Clippers bandwagon but they had no problem hopping on the Warriors train while their team stinks, lol.
