The Celts will get Howard and sign him to a max deal. They will get up some combination of Lee, Sullinger, Rozier, Dallas 1st this year.

Yeah, Danny Ainge would be quite the idiot to even think about giving Dwight a max offer. I've read that his people have made calls around to Dallas and the Lakers about him getting a max from them and they both said no, LA for obvious reasons before.

Tobias Harris available too now? Another non playoff team who certainly could use a 1st round pick, and has something the Raptors need.

I'd definitely do a deal involving Raptors or Clippers 1st rounder to get Harris. Alternate him and Carroll between SF/PF(since both guys play both positions) for whatever situation is needed.

David Lee being the exception. Who deserves major props for the way he has handled being buried on the Celtics bench.

Celtics - Kelly Olynyk, Marcus Smart, David Lee, Dallas and Memphis 1st round picks.

This is why I believe the Celtics won't be making any major moves at the deadline. With so many picks and young players at their disposal, rival GMs are going to force them to give up too much.

The last thing the Celtics should do is trade for a star (even Boogie). Keep bringing in the youth and work with guys who are getting better (Thomas, Crowder). They don't want to get sucked into bringing in a big name and giving future assets to another team to build with.

Kelly Olynyk and David Lee, the Dallas Mavericks’ 2016 first-round pick and their own 2016 first-round pick.

Chad Ford suggested the combination above. I see no way the Hawks bite on that offer though.

Yea I was listening to sports talk radio and most of the guys said that they would do that trade in a minute. But I was thinking would the Hawks do it? I can't see why. That easily vaults us to top 2 or 3 in the East depending on your view of Toronto. And right now Dallas' pick is like 19 or something and they are most likely going to make the playoffs. So I don't see why the Hawks take 2 mid round picks a bad contract and Olynyk.

I think that since Ainge has acquired so many assets any team that trades with the Celtics is going to make them overpay. I wouldn't want to give up too much since Horford will be a FA at the end of the season anyway.

As long as Hordford would re-sign and the deal doesn't include the Brooklyn picks, IT, Bradley, Smart or Crowder, then I'd be all over it. I'd like send them Sully and keep Olynyk due to his spacing and energy, but you can't have it all.

A bad contract isn't a bad contract when it's expiring. Ainge was able to trade Gerald Wallace in the last year of his deal if that tells you anything.

I keep seeing rumors of Korver to Cleveland.. If that happens and they can somehow move Mozgov/Andy for maybe a halfway decent rim protector they should be ready for another finals run.

Ya'll can take Booker back. He's a shell of himself this season. Dude can't shoot anymore and he's missing open layups consistently.

PJ Tucker or Anderson would be a great pickup for the Wiz though
