So, is Shaq a 5 or 6??? He is a liability late in games. He gets half his points on Offensive Rebounds (which by the way is not true of Ben).

Don't forget Shaq gets less rebounds too.


It is not suprising to me that this latest argument comes from a Pacers fan. Not that Pacer fans are not knowledgeable but because the Pistons\Pacers are starting to create a nice little rivalry. which in turn will create some jealousy

Why cant we use per 48 Minute stats? I mean its fair considering Camby played about 8 less minutes or so per game than Wallace did, so of course Wallaces averages were going to be higher. Actually, I think Wallace was 6th in boards per 48 minutes.

Its just showing that if they both played the same amount of minutes, Camby may very well have better averages. The only difference between them is that Wallace shows more intensity but whatever gets the job done gets the job done.

Just to add one more argument in Wallace's favor and to rebut the ridiculous per 48 minutes statistics. Wallace plays more minutes per game than Camby because he is more important to his team and is needed more often than Camby. Big Ben plays for the best team in the NBA while Camby plays for an average team in the West. I think that it's pretty clear there is no comparison between Camby and Ben Wallace.
