re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
LOL.
He signed an extension when he was first eligible for it and missed the LBJ and Bosh free agency summer.
And he did little to nothing while in Denver.
KD won MVP, has been to the Finals and was one game away from the Finals.
Slight difference there Melo.Comment

I wasn't until the initial response. I was just saying maybe that if LeBron had to get through KD we won't have 15 posts next year when he makes 7 straight finals of people trying to somehow discredit that.
If he even makes the finals that is.

Well, LeBron has already beaten KD in the Finals. Also beat the Spurs and Warriors. These are minor details that certain people can't deal with lol. LeBron just makes it look easy in the East. Didn't exactly work out for Melo in NY.Comment

"Get yo money playboy. Get them to sign and trade you, I'll tell Phil to ship out Kris if I need to. If they don't wanna do it, then oh well, you tried, just gone head get yo money and stay. Money. Money money."
Sound right?Comment

Can't talk to him about winning and advancing
Can't talk to him about women cuz Lala got it locked down
Might be able to tell him about a larger market though, coming from a smaller one.Comment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
That's his fault though. I honestly wouldn't even have a problem with him being about his money the way he has been if he was real about it. You're a young athlete with a limited amount of time to make a **** ton of money. Do you and get that money if that's what you want. But if you're more concerned about your money than winning, then keep it 100 and be about your money and don't try to front like winning is the most important thing to you and then every chance you get to prove that winning is the most important thing for you, you pass on it to chase the money.Comment

Are we sure it's all about with money with Melo? Wanting to stay in NY has nothing to do with it?Comment

2016 Offseason Thread
Can't do both huh man.
I wonder why John Wall has avoided the "greed" wrath...
Just a funny talking point to me every year, especially since he's not the first nor last athlete to do so...but he catches the most heat for it though.Last edited by ProfessaPackMan; 06-27-2016, 03:04 PM.#RespectTheCultureComment

You have to lie about these things. It's just the way it is. You don't walk into a job interview saying, "I'm here because y'all paying more than my current job" despite the fact that everyone knows that's why you're there.NFL - Vikings
