re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Just have to see how much he has left or it can be another Metta World Peace signing. Where he was great the first year & then fell off a cliff each subsequent year after."This is for all of my peoples who understand and truly recognize. Some won't get it and for that i won't apologize"- Talib KweliComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
So we just paid Deng $72 mil to come off the bench? Or did we draft Ingram #2 to come off the bench? Or is Randle now coming off the bench? Maybe Ingram comes off the bench at first but you can't have him come off the bench for more than a year. Especially if we're still losing 55+ games next year.Comment

Loved Lu Deng and sad to see him go. He will be a great example for the Laker kids.
The way these deals are going I don't see anyway the Heat can sign Wade for under 18- 20 mil.
Looks like they will be bringing back the same squad minus Deng, Joe Johnson, and possibly Tyler Johnson. [emoji19]
Riles is going to have to work some magic to fill out this roster.

Very nice. Or use these links:
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Deng is like 9mil under the old cap. Really good signing as far as I'am concerned. Lakers are rebuilding and they've tryed to surround the young guys with veteran presence to help them grow. They did what they could. Nick young could have been our veteran presence and Hibbert our center. They upgraded both position while not compromising the youth growth. Add to that the walton signing that's a solid off season for L.A. especially for a team that won 17 games.Comment

Sources on @TheVertical: Boston and Washington have emerged as frontrunners to sign All-Star forward Al Horford.
Yep. I think he should go to Boston. That team would be solid.Comment
