It's been nice to chat about this without any arguments.

23 covered a lot of the points in your paragraph. I think OKC tried to do too much, then too little too late.

I have very little love for owners that cry poverty because it's bs. I know some teams definitely pull in more than others, but OKC has been running like they were the Miami Marlins. It's not fair to the fanbase or the players.

At least management was stand up about Durant leaving. And they did bring in Donovan. And they are trying to be competitive without rebuilding.

I don't think it's just a matter of crying poor. It's foolish no matter what to run a business which results in a loss of millions whether you're a billionaire or not. The owner of my favorite team (Jordan) repeatedly states that he would never cross the luxury tax threshold unless he has an absolute contender.

Now I think for an opportunity at the championship you do it (and the Thunder do owe millions of dollars in luxury tax). But that goes against every business sense that owners have.

the problem with the Durant takes for me is him making this decision is some big character flaw and it's not just the fans I mean even OKC Reporter Royce Young has been doing it the last 2 days GTFO.

also from now on I'm going to do legacy stuff with role players because that's how ridiculous it is. West ruining his legacy by going to GSW smh.
