As far as the quote goes I don't really care to scroll back 2-3 pages on tapatalk just to see a user name. Someone said something along the lines of "with Curry I don't see them losing". I just thought it was ironic because the guy who has been to what will be 6 straight finals is on the other squad yet seemingly "forgotten", for lack of a better world, in that analogy.

I said I was fine with Curry winning the award last year, but my vote would have been Harden.. They were nearly a toss up, but Harden did it with much less which is why he was my vote. GS without Curry would have been a playoff team, Houston without Harden would have been in the lottery with all those injuries.. I didn't say anything at all about LeBron winning MVP last season, you can go back and look if you want. He had a deserved 3rd place for last seasons performance.

LeBron likely won't even compete for another MVP, he's not going to give that effort for 82 games anymore. But playoff LeBron is the best player in the world so...
If James was so money in the playoffs you would think his playoffs finals record would be better. I am not a big fan of James. Yes his skill and size is second to none. But I want my best player on my team taking that last shot of the game. I guess I am old school. I blame Jimmy from Hooisers. "I'll make the shot".

In the playoffs!? Really!? I think Green might be in that race. And after last night probably Curry too.

That said this "GS has Curry" while completely ignoring that Cleveland has LeBron argument is horse**** lol. Nobody (even Curry) has yet proven to be a better player, bigger matchup problem, more impactful than LeBron once he reaches the finals.

He just has so much impact on what his team does.. The guy is accounting for over 43 points per game right now with his points and points from assists.. Not a peep about it.

That's because people are talking about how Curry accounts for about 50 points from both.

      Go figure right

But you don't win a game/series by yourself, and LeBron has had his fair share of game on the line playoff moments.. To say he hasn't would be just blatantly ignoring chunks of his career.

Question, if you swap Curry for LeBron last year does Cleveland make the finals? Does GS still win it all.. Impossible to know but the totality of what I dialed in LeBron James brings to the table outweighs what guys like Curry/Durant do with their scoring.. IMO.

Damn man ya'll done gone off the deep end lol.

First off I think the whole "with Curry" thing has more to do with the fact that the Warriors have been without Curry for most of the playoffs more than it has to do with some weird reason that people have forgotten about LeBron.

As far as Love and Irving being out last year and Cavs still taking it to 6, I think people write it off because it's simply irrelevant now. Sports aren't played on paper. Neither team is the same as last year either. You can argue all you want about that, but GS fans will argue how much their team has improved to offset that argument.

I give the Cavs(and SA) a chance to beat the Warriors if that series takes place because they are playing great ball and I think they matchup well, but at the end of the day I'm still taking the team that has lost a grand total of 11 games in 91 tries. It's not disrespect or sleeping on Cleveland or any other team to say that. It's just reality.

Yes becaue the East is weak.

I want James to take that shot. I question his heart. But that is just my opinion. No big deal. You guys go on with your love fest of James. Curry has a long way to go before I say he is better than 23. But he is narrowing the gap the last two years in my opinion.

I agree with all of this. And really think the whole "6 games" last year is completely meaningless in terms of if they had a rematch this year.

I can honestly say this years playoffs will be a big enjoyment for me as a fan regardless. Seeing LeBron win for for Cleveland would be amazing, seeing Duncan go out with a ring would be amazing, seeing GS cement this record breaking year with a repeat would be amazing, and KD/RW have grown on me some too, so seeing them win wouldn't disappoint me any.

If I had to choose an outcome I'd probably go with SA winning it all. Probably gonna get killed for that lol but I don't know... they've been so good for an impossibly long time I almost just root for them to keep it going now. One of the few if the only "dynasty" type team in sports I haven't developed a hatred for lol.

That's really impressive considering he's only played like 70 minutes in the playoffs so far.

Last I checked, LeBron has won 27 playoff series wins. Curry's won 6.

Do you think it's easy making it to the Finals (with this year) 7 times?

Pretty sure that was me and my reasoning was they went from winning the lottery to EC champions (or 2nd in the east since it's based off regular season).
