25\45 from 3....with at least 6-7 those coming from ill advised hoists trying to get the record.
That's a bit ridiculous.Comment

I agree with Chuck in that the Cavs were being disrespectful still chucking up threes chasing the record up by like 30 something points because they were at a point that they weren't even attempting to shoot the ball inside the arc.
But I also think if you're the Hawks and you have a problem with what they're doing, you need to stop them. If that means roughing them up a little or just flat out defending the friggin three point line at some point, you need to stop what they're doing instead of rolling over and taking it.

They forced a few 3s, but the record breaking 3 came off ball movement and was wide open, should Jones step in and take a 2 lol? I get what Barkley is saying but I'm sure any team that has a chance break a record, would attempt to break it. We had a few mid range shots and some dunks, but other than a few forced shots, they played controlled I thought. Didnt help that the Atlanta bench picked up where the starters left off defensively.
They keep trying to crowd the paint and we keep getting good looks outside, have to think they change up the defense.Comment

There was just no fight in the Hawks until Humphries tried to drag Bron back and Mozgov got him back on the next possession. That was all there was, it was just the most flaccid and unacceptable performance from a conference semi final team I've seen so far this year. Shooting 3s when you're up big also means there's no chance one of your guys runs in and takes a big hit - just in case the Hawks wanted to fight - keeping your squad healthy.Comment

If I'm the Cavs reserves...I'm going for that record with 0 remorse...I have no issue with that at all.
I'm shaking my head at the Hawks. The Western Conference all stars in a game that didn't count showed more pride in stopping PG from getting the record...I'm at the minimum being petty and sitting on the line...none of those 3rd stringers are pulling up and drilling a 3 in your grill. He got out-rebounded by Valanciunas on 2 straight possessions. Just bad positioning and no effort to box out ... smh ...Comment
