Your the one who said he didnt coattail, not me. Which, in my opinion, means he was a good role in winning the titles. Which means he should be placed above, again doesnt have to be a lot, but above nonetheless, all of the other 2 guards.....correct? I mean if he wasnt just along for the ride. I see what your saying but do you see what Im saying? Example: Devean George was a coattail rider in turn meaning he isnt above small forwards who havent won titles.

Kobe wasnt riding, meaning he should get extra credit when being ranked.....thats all I'm saying.

Actually, thats what I thought you were saying when you made your original statement that Kobe didnt coattail.

Guy, don't worry about it, Kobe ranks above those guys because he is a better basketball player, that's it!

So by your assessment, Horry was the best PF in the L for some time, and so Derek Fisher was the best PG right? I mean they won rings so they have the edge correct?

No he wasnt riding, but I dont know what extra credit you are talking of. He won the rings as part of a team effort. He didnt win a scoring title finals MVP or regular season MVP so what credit are you speaking of? I dont get it. Where is the award?

Actually, thats what I thought you were saying when you made your original statement that Kobe didnt coattail.

I was replying to the poster above my statement who was just hating on Kobe if you would read the post saying he was a coattail rider in which I said he didnt.

We can talk about Shaq winning with any other "elite 2 guard," but can't we say the same about Kobe.

Take Shaq away, and give Kobe Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, or even Jermaine O'Neal. Sure Kobe wouldn't have the same dominant figure he had with Shaq, but without Kobe, Shaq wouldn't have the same dominant "clutch" figure he had with Kobe (Paul Pierce is clutch though).
