    WNBA!

Just curious if anyone here watches the WNBA? Lets also keep it respectful to the ladies guys. This well they suck, they cant dunk, so I dont watch, well if thats your view of good basketball then your basketball IQ level isnt very high, and these woman would actually school you IRL on the court. Hey if you dont like the ****** game, thats fine, give your reason, but hopefully you can be mature about it, and actually give a good reason, other than they cant dunk, lol.

Personally I watch the WNBA, and have WNBA league pass for the Indiana Fever, would have it for the whole league, but money is tight. Plus Im a huge baseball fan so their is only so much time in the day to watch games.

I love watching Tamika Catchings, men or woman, she is in my list as all time favorite basketball players. Bre January is another Fever player I love watching, she is like a smaller version on defense of Catchings, she is a real ball hawk, and Bre and Tamika are as tough as they come.

In general I just love watching good basketball and seeing a team play together as a unit, and not all this ISO 1on 1 we see so much of in the NBA.

So if your a fan of the WNBA who is you favorite team, player, and what do you enjoy most about the ladies game?

Is it bad for me to say I don't watch the WNBA because it doesn't "excite" me? I'm sure there are some great plays, some great games, but as a whole if I'm not going to be excited for it I don't watch. The extent of my WNBA viewing is basically just a couple playoffs games a year, if I happen to scroll past them on my TV guide. Has nothing to do with them sucking, or not dunking, I don't believe they suck at all, and dunking is just two points at the end of the day. They just aren't fun to watch from my perspective.

It's not just a WNBA thing, sports in general. I don't enjoy baseball for long periods of time, nascar, golf.. The NBA is all I follow religiously, followed by college basketball/football and the NFL. And even college games I seem to enjoy less and less the older I get. March Madness is great, but something about watching future lawyers and used car dealers duke it out during the regular season has just lost it's luster. The one thing college sports had going for them, rivalries, have become lessened over the years. Without them I feel as if I'm watching mediocrity until tournament time.

I know what your saying about college basketball not being the same, hasnt stopped me from watching religiously, but all the conference switching has hurt the rivalry's. It really bothers me that Purdue and Indiana dont always have 2 game against each other each season. The 1 and done players has also hurt the college game. Sometimes change isnt good, and in this case both of these things has hurt the college game.

I'm with you there also. The NBA and NCAA basketball tournament are my only two interests religiously in sports. I have become less interested in all football over the last year or so, due to the rules and terrible officiating. The WNBA just doesn't do anything for me. No offense, ladies.

Just watching the HOF induction and Sheryl Swoopes sure has gotten ugly as she has aged. Back in her playing days while she wasnt no hottie like Skylar Diggins, she was kind of cute, but now she looks so bad that if they hadnt said her name I wouldnt have known who it was.

You question people watching the WNBA like you enjoy the "sport" and THIS is what you take from the HOF induction? LMAO

For the record, Swoops was as close to Jordan as possible for woman's hoops. Incredible story too of her struggles of dealing with sexuality at a time it was much less acceptable and going through pregnancy at a time the woman's game was trying to prove legitimacy. She's a pioneer (obviously not a rebuttal to your post but I felt some actual talk about her career needed to be added, lol).

I watch the WNBA and NCAAW ... I haven't kept up with it this year due to this last NBA offseason feel like it never ended (training camp is like two weeks away already) but I do enjoy watching it. I'm a Lady Vols fan so I track former Vols like Parker.
