Check out the comparison to Sports Illustrated:

76ers ranked 4th in the East, in ESPN 9th.
Bucks ranked 11th in the East, in ESPN 4th.
Boston ranked 9th in the East, in ESPN 6th.
Denver ranked 7th in the West, in ESPN 3rd.
Lakers ranked 10th in the West, in ESPN 5th.

    Interesting.

rockets wont be that much better than last year

yao is in his third yr, tracy is learning to be a number 2...and there isnt much after...well, howard will give you 17/7...but they wont be that much better

yes tracy is the man...but how much different is a steve francis, 2nd yr yao...compared to a tracy macgrady(2nd option), 3rd yr yao

        not much, imo

I agree but I think they based their rating on potential to make the playoffs.

If not there is something wrong.

I think Steve Francis is one of the most overrated players in the league. I sometimes want to say that Cuttino Mobley is better than him.

I think Tracy will fit in, and he's a lot different from Steve. From the pre-season I've watched, Tracy hasn't tried to do too much, and I like that.

Excuse me...Rockets have McGrady and Yao and who else? Oh yea, the CURSE of Juwan Howard! Every team the guy plays for underachieves. Don't forget that.

And, of course, for me to not put Lakers in the 8th spot would be...sacrilege.
