You answered your own question, but yeah, no player on the defensive side should be rewarded statistically for anything that happens after an offensive player is fouled. I don't know why anyone would disagree with that.

Yeah for some reason I thought if a trailing player got the block it was credited. And then I 2nd guessed myself, and then 2nd guessed that again. This is why I drink 4 cups of coffee in the morning lol.

As for GS - Curry and KD are obviously going to get theirs, but Klay might be the odd man out most nights. I wouldn't be surprised if he started playing with the second unit more just to get his flow going.

Klay was 5-13. How is that odd man out?

Yeah, not sure I agree with that "rule". If a shot can count after the whistle, a goal tend can be called after the whistle, then why shouldn't a block?

I guess I get it though, what if the player who committed the foul was the one who also blocked the shot, rather than a secondary player from behind, you would then be rewarding a player who just committed a foul with a block he likely wouldn't have gotten if there wasn't a foul. Also the player would be given a block on a play where there was no shot attempt.

All this is doing is making my head hurt.

Not a block after a foul because a block = missed shot attempt
Since no shot attempt, no block...even though you can prevent an and-1 lol

I'd suggest watching a replay of the Jazz/Blazers game if you could. Really competitive, back-and-forth game filled with good offense from both sides. Lillard went crazy.

Man, that game was so epic! Hood was cash, Blazers shot like 60% from deep, Joe took over, Dame finished it (CJ had a couple).... Vonleh efficeint and confident(say whaaattttt?)

but correct me if im wrong, no missed fts this game?

edit: also unsure why 2k played Harkless. so bad on defense in 2k, but second best defender on team in real life

Klay was 5-13. How is that odd man out?

He never seemed in the flow of things early on and never really got a chance to get his game going.

Then again the whole team didn't really flow too well other than some small bursts.

I wouldn't call for him to be benched but he needs to do better with making shots. A 7'3 center shouldn't be shooting at 42%, especially in a Knicks team with streaky shooters like Melo and Rose. I hope Porzingis hits the weight room a lot over the next few years because he settles for the jumper too much, probably because of his frame.

I will say, last year and the one game we've saw this year LeBron looks better from an athletic and endurance standpoint than he did his last year in Miami and first year back in Cleveland.
