          It's at Chicago, no?
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

            Thanks for posting this, Jeebs.

I definitely know WHY, but I thought it was funny that I read through this thread starting from the opening night discussions until now. There are a couple of pages of James and Durant as 1 and 2 right now, and MAYBE Leonard could reach 2 but probably not, yada yada.

That's a real interesting read after you've already seen AD's performance... and even funnier that there are just sprinkles of posts about it here and there. I'd just like to list his full stat line because I don't know when we'll ever see something like it again.

            50% fg, 94% ft (16/17), 50 pts, 16 rbs, 5 ast, 7 stl, 4 blk and a partridge and a pear tree.

Please stay healthy, AD... pretty please.

Love where the NBA is headed the past few years. At a point now where a player who's considered average by most (literally not top 50 by slam, ranked 62 by SI) at 7 feet tall is making plays like this and putting up 32 and 11 lines. Added bonus being the reason that play was even possible is because the defender had to respect that shot, he nails those too.

You know I was one of the guys along with you a couple season ago when we said that after LeBron's reign ends the league could be AD's rather than Durant. Then Curry decided not to miss a shot for two years straight and shake it all up lol.

It's all about staying healthy and being consistent for AD. That and seeing how much of his game is sustainable in some playoff runs.

Exactly my point. JV was just the example used. The league has so much quality right now, trending even higher.

He might have to share it with KAT and Embiid if they can all stay healthy.

Seriously, I'm not JUST glad the NBA is back... I'm really excited for some of these young kids to start showing their skills. I see you out there too, Russell... and Greek Freak. It's gonna be a fun year.

When everyone's healthy the league is just so much more fun to watch. So many talents.
