      Raptors-Cavs in ECF rematch tonight!

Don't worry, it's regular season, I'm sure we won't get refs as bad as in the playoffs lol(I still find it amazing how the Raptors got 2-3 technical fouls on a play when TRISTAN THOMPSON was the one who hit Lebron AND Lebron FLOPPED on the hit too! )

Sorry to continue with the spurs love, but damn Kawhi has been crazy good these first few games. If this is the Kawhi we are gonna see from now on, yea, the Warriors have company.

Would be a nice change of pace from how the award is typically given. We all know he won't stand a chance if they aren't a top 1-3 seed though. Which is still bogus IMO.

You saying ALL players should basically be eligible then and not just guys that finish on the Top 2-3 teams in the league?

He's currently averaging 32.5 ppg and 5 spg and would be the best player on a top 1-3 team. How would that be a break from the norm?

I kind of hope it happens now because I want to see if you (and others) still complain that he's not really the best player in the league and only won bc of his team record (which is the norm).

If you make the playoffs you've done your job. Maybe more weight should be given to a 1 seed player, but should never be the deciding factor over say a 4 seed who was the better player all season long.

Because the voting typical goes to the best scorer on the 1 seed. If Kawhi were to win MVP this year he likely won't be on the 1 seeded team, or top 5 in the league in PPG, which would in fact break the norm. I'd absolutely love to see it happen.

I don't see him averaging 32ppg on the season, and I was saying that if they fail to finish 1-3 I believe he should still get votes even though he likely would not.

When have I ever complained about an MVP other than D Rose? Who absolutely won because of team record.

2 games in and we're already talking about MVP candidates.

This is 2012 all over again.

Only way Spurs don't finish top 4 is if we're running a sim in Pack's mind.

                        Warriors Pelicans tonight.

Curry vs Davis will be the chatter even though they play different positions and won't even say a word to each other.

Think AD is grabbing that Hakeem stat line again tonight?

Over 50% of the league makes the playoffs.

It's all a moot point though because the Spurs will be a top 3 seed.

                                Favors expected to play tonight.

This is big for us. Diaw really didn't look good in the starting lineup on Tuesday. Think he's best suited off the bench on this squad.
