Stop calling them, thats how.

But then what do you call? They're clearly fouls, and unlike most And-1's, they're actually getting fouled as they're going up rather than hearing the whistle and throwing it up after the fact. It's just ugly because we all know they have no intention of making the shot. I don't know how you can say it's not a shooting foul while everything else that refs call shooting fouls are fine.

I honestly wanted Westbrook to get his triple-double as well (because you know, Trip-Dubs > all). Ah well.

This game felt indicative of how the season has gone for these two and the big difference to me between WB and Harden. Harden enhances his teammates and makes the game fun/easy for them. Westbrook still has ALOT of maturing to do in that regard and in terms of his decision-making. It honestly felt at times they played better without him dominating the ball.

I'm fully prepared for the WB has no help narrative from all the media that voted him MVP.

This game is only indicative of how OKC looks when Westbrook doesn't have a great game. That's not a representation at all of what happened the majority of the season. And people here accuse me of cherry picking lol.

That would be like me saying that if Harden comes out next game and shoots 22% and has as many turnovers as assists like he did against the Clippers the other night that's is indicative of how the season went and why their is a difference between Russ and Harden.

It doesn't work like that lmao.

I'm not cherry picking. I've been saying this all year. Do you not agree that Westbrook has a lot of maturing to do in terms of leadership and decision-making? Harden went through it, Kobe went through it, and Russ will have to go through it too. Talent-wise Russ may be the best in the league, but cerebrally is where I differentiate him and James. You can often trust Russ to make the wrong play. Even when he had a hot Durant he would refuse to defer and go it alone. Durant is gone now and Russ is still the same guy. Only now he has an excuse to dominate the ball. Like I've been saying. I love Russ, find him entertaining, he is probably one of my top 5 favorite All-Stars, but until there's an internal shift with him I can't anoint him yet.

(Though he will win MVP. He is WAY ahead in the votes based on voters who have revealed their ballots).

If I'm Donovan, I don't play Kanter for the rest of the series.

He's pretty much useless against a team like Houston. He's always fine on Offense but his Defense is so bad, I'm not sure he's worth the 10-12 pts if he's going to give up 14-16 on the other end while playing horrible in PnR(which is what Houston THRIVES on).
