Harden is just a better player, scorer, and Houston is clearly the better team. These are things people have known pretty much all season. Westbrook going off for 50 point triple doubles against Denver doesn't change any of that.

Lol. To be fair, people were doing the same after that Denver game. Like it decided the MVP race. I'll take a playoff game over that.

And I've always like Harden over Westbrook. Wouldn't want either on my team tho.

Both are very gifted basketball players, but like you I wouldnt want either on my team at any time. I dont believe either are capable of leading a team to a championship, and in Harden's case, neither is his coach, because neither value defense, and to win a championship, defense has to a focal point.

Pacers arent much better, they are just lucky the Cavs are playing like crap, Memphis dont have that luck in playing the Spurs. If Cavs were playing up to their abilities Pacers would be getting a beat down, like Memphis is.

Spurs and Warriors will be 1 heck of a WCF's. Dont see any other outcome than that happening in the West. Houston has a HC and star player who dont value defense, Clippers have star power, who cant put it all together when it counts most. Utah plays hard, but are probably not quite their just yet, but I love watching them play.

With Pau shooting the most 3'a he's ever shot and making 53% of them, it makes D'Antoni not seem so crazy in retrospect....maybe he was actually ahead of the game? Lol

It didn't affect the scoreboard that much when it happened but I think it changed Memphis energy level.

I dont think anyone would doubt that D'anfoni is a great offensive mind. Its his lack of value on defense that has kept him from winning the ultimate prize, and IMO will always keep him from it, unless he puts more value on D.

The way the game was headed, he was able to see the future somewhat with what offense would and could be. Now I dont fully believe you can have ultimate success, shooting quite as many as his team takes, averaging 40 3's a game. Even though the Warriors won a ring being a jump shooting team, and are likely to win another 1 this season, they do have the ability to lock teams down, and get out on the FB and get easy layups. Warriors are a unique group, they have toughness and the ability to light you up.
