NO ONE in here is changing their minds (that's both sides). If you feel Westbrook is playing with garbage then the fact that they shot great and were dominating when Russ shared the ball this series won't convince you otherwise.
If you look at my posts in this thread, I have never played the "Man, he has no help and his teammates are garbage" card. Haven't played it all year and don't need to because it's not true. And if we know it's not true, then there's no need in even entertaining that in the first place.

What I have said is that anytime someone says "Man (Oladipo/Adams/insert teammate)isn't shooting well tonight" then either you or anyone else will equate that to either OJ, myself or anybody saying that he has no help and hasn't all year. And after that, there's no actual discussion, it's just takes that follow up and after awhile, it starts to feel like Twitter, lol.

It's not about trying to change someone's minds when it comes to him. I just rather people be objective(or at least)when it comes to him and not just hot take it away every time they lose. Funny thing is I don't think he played that much different than he did in Game 3. And nobody said how he "almost lost them the game", although I'm sure if Harden would've hit that 3, y'all would've looked for something and we both know that's true, lol.

I don't think that they have anything to trade to get him though. They don't have a high pick in the upcoming draft, and all of their players have had their value depressed somewhat this year, by the role they were asked to play. They made the playoffs and Russ will win MVP, but they're in a tough spot going forward because they're going to be paying Adams and Dipo, star money but they didn't play a style of ball that worked toward them developing into stars.

A player who needs to dribble and ISO all game, like another Durant, realistically might never win the anything. But for someone who can move, who can shoot, who can flourish without taking multiple dribbles, for example Klay Thomson type of player, Westbrook would literally be the best player in the league for them to play with.

I wish they did have the cap space to go after a star/superstar player so that we could see my hypothesis put to the test. I could be totally wrong, but it's how I read the situation. I'd like to see someone do one of those anonymous polls over the summer about how players really feel about other players.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

My only gripe with him shooting it is really how he does it sometimes.. why does he get the ball then just immediately rise up and shoot some crazy off balance shot that everyone knows ain't going in. If he's gonna shoot it at least be patient and try to get a decent look.

Not trying to start anything here...but I remember Steve Kerr advocating marijuana use for pain.

Do they drug test coaches and staff? Or just the players?

Harden had a bad game shooting thanks to trash teammate extraordinaire Andre Roberson because you sure as heck aren't going to put Russ on Harden lmaooo. whew would you look at that 18/7 for Adams. They have a trash bench that's where it ends and I'm sorry to say he's isn't the 1st person to have that.

Hou surrounding cast better but it's the length you guys think it's better is where I disagree.

Am I missing something here? I just do not see Westbrook having a chance in hell. Calling his teammates trash is exaggeration, but they aren't much.

I just don't understand what people expect, Westbrook could certainly cut down on poor percentage shots, but the thing that continually is brought up is he needs to trust his teammates. But who?

He goes out for a breather, and everything goes to ****. Because they don't have one guy that can be that second option.

I may not love WB's shot selection at times, but nobody else can step up, so it's not like it matters.

64-22, the Houston bench outscored the OKC bench, that is lopsided as hell. I don't have any beef with Harden. But, to me it's just easy to see he has a BETTER supporting cast. It's just readily apparent.

That's literally my only argument, and that WB is damned either way. Harden doesn't have that problem.

Wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the person you were responding to.

No I think Russ played great in game three (and most of game 2 and 4 minus the 4th). I can dig up stats if you need to see how Russ' mentality changes in those moments (but they've already been posted) or you could just watch the game and see for yourself.

I'm not a big fan of attacking a poster instead of their arguments, which OJ comparing me to Kash is pretty much doing. I do not think I am trolling at all. I am posting pretty sound arguments. Stats or eye test, I can use either.

But honestly I'm done (and I mean it this time). I'll still read your posts, but don't appreciate the personal jabs. I really don't want to be considered a troll or net negative to the discussion. So ya'll got it. Enjoy the rest of the series. It was fun debating with you all!

Even if Rudy is only at 75% tonight, he is a MASSIVE upgrade over a one-legged Favors, as well as Withey and Diaw.

Long as he can block and alter shots in the paint, I think he'll be just fine.

Missed the OKC/HOU game completely but seeing how it isn't a ghost town like after Game 3, I'm assuming Houston won [emoji38]

Ready for this Jazz/Clips game...I really hope Rudy is able to play...
