Felt like his teammates shot like 80% from the field today. The supporting cast is capable but they need Westbrook creating looks for them. He just gets into this mode down the stretch where he stops doing it.

Nobody did **** down the stretch, oladipo made a contested three. Not that Westbrook was really hitting anyway, but once again nobody steps up.

Harden has a horrible game, everyone else steps up.

Some questionable shot selection by Westbrook down the stretch. I know his supporting cast is lacking, but those were bad shots. I know he made one, but damn.

Crazy to think OKC could easily be up 3-1 instead of down 3-1. Two drunk 4th quarters by Russ jacking up bad shot after bad shot and they're in a hole.

If you think about it, in the games they lost, OKC has outplayed Houston two quarters in game 1, three quarters in game 2 and three quarters in game 3. Those 4th quarter meltdowns are the only reason Houston is up.

If Houston gets through OKC I can't see them advancing past the second round. A team more disciplined that has a leader with more composure would not act like they are down 20 when the game is in reach and will make Houston pay for these lazy starts.

Who can create their own shot but Westbrook? Everyone just stood around and watched WB play 5 on 1.

Then Donovan leaves Roberson in to miss about 7 ft's out of 8.

I don't get this team at all, just terrible.

They didn't play any different than they did the rest of the game. The only difference is Westbrook gave up on them. He did an amazing job creating good looks for them the first 3 quarters. Basically pretended they didn't exist in the 4th.

He's got a bunch of solid finishers; what he lacks is teammates that can create on their own, but with Westbrook's absurd athleticism, he should be able to create for them pretty much whenever he wants; setting them up for dunks around the basket would certainly be better than chucking up a 3 pointer while jumping into his own teammates and flopping like a fish.

Donovan leaving Roberson in and playing Abrines/McDermott/Grant so little was dumb as well.

Once they started putting Roberson on the line(which was a smart move btw)you can see the moment starting to shift right there.

Which is also around the time it became a whistle fest. They let them play for the first 3 1/2 quarters and then in the last 5-6 mins of the 4th, it was Whistle City.

But as usual, pinning the 4th on Westbrook is a narrative that's set in stone thanks to Game 2.

He had 14 assists. What more can you do? It's not his fault his team is braindead on offense, and his coach can't recognize he has the worst free throw shooter on the team out there.

I get it, WB couldn't hit the side of a barn, but I don't think it really mattered anyway. That team is trash on offense, anyway you slice it.

This was answered already...

The supporting cast was great until they were forgotten.

Felt like his teammates shot like 80% from the field today. The supporting cast is capable but they need Westbrook creating looks for them. He just gets into this mode down the stretch where he stops doing it.

Edit: 56% to be exact. For reference's sake, Harden's supporting cast shot 46% even with Nene's 100%.

Which is funny because I thought they changed that rule. But I found out later that it only applies to the last 2 mins.

Last 4-5 mins, everytime OKC got the ball back, Roberson was fouled. Prior to Houston reverting to that strategy, he was still getting others involved in the 4th whether it was dumping it down to Adams, dishing to Roberson in the corner or hitting Grant under the basket.

I do think when he had Nene matched up on him on the perimeter he should've used his speed to get around him and get to the basket.

Harden 8 assists and 7 turnovers.

Westbrook 14 assists and 5 turnovers.

Just don't see how it's on Russ, erratic shooting or not. Nobody steps up for OKC.
