I hope we see very little of Kyle Anderson, too. Dedmon needs his starting spot back since Capela is mostly in for rebounding, defending and finishing at the rim.

Harden is gonna be flopping like a fish, so it'll fun to see who can bait the refs more between him and Manu. (Of course Ginobili will lose out in that respect since he plays limited minutes.)

Harden will win that battle easy in regards to baiting the refs. Soon as he drives to the hole and sticks that ball out there as he's about to finish, that's when he'll get the whistle.

    Guaranteed 2 FTs every time.

But it IS a foul so what should they do?

Bottom line is the defender can't be that close to a guy in triple threat position. Too far away, can't close out on the shot... too close, maybe foul. It's tough but it's part of the chess match. Jab and play it right, and you'll have guys flailing while throwing up wild airballs from the 3pt line like Westbrook at the end of game 5.

But it's not on the refs, they have to make the call. Players have to adjust.

I disagree that it should be a foul if the player has to completely forgo his normal shooting motion to draw the contact. Maybe that's just me.

That trash they gave conley at the end of the game was not a foul.

When you're driving and lean in your shoulder into the defenders chest and they fall back the majority of the time thats a charge.

You shouldn't be able to do that in a stationary position either.

Both feet planted, no shooting motion, bump a guy with your shoulder then throw up a shot....when YOU are the one initiating contact then it shouldn't be a foul.

It's you, lol. We want refs to determine "normal shooting motion" now? If someone goes through a wild wind up wide open and it goes in, should that not count? If so, every shot Ball takes next year should be waived off.

Seriously though, I'm not a fan of the move but the answer is that the defender needs to adjust. The defender has an advantage if they can play that close AND that's not considered a foul. They need to back up.

Sorry, man. That bum showed up to Boston lazy and out of shape when we really could have used him, and admitted as much after He was waived.

I was really, truly shocked how well David Lee has played for us. He is a lot like Bobo, but without the range, post game or solid defensive chops.

I always thought he would/could be "Spurs material," but he has really stepped up.

Thankfully, he, Dedmon, Gasol & Aldridge should have an easier time with Houston's frontline.

Was Richard Jefferson playing poorly before he came to the Spurs?

He wasn't a great fit for us but he developed that stroke in San Antonio that has extended his career...

According to NBA's last 2 min report, only bad call was Greens play on Lee. All others they claim is fine.

                            I legit don't remember.

Thought it ended on bad terms for him and that's why he left.

When's the last time the Spurs and Rockets played each other in the playoffs? I feel like I've never seen 24 with that avatar.

Didn't the league just say a couple years ago they were getting rid of the rip through? Therefor it's obviously not just me.

I'm with 23 though, if you initiate all the contact it shouldn't be the defenders fault.
