Paul Pierce and the Clippers have agreed to extend the deadline on his contract to enable him to be traded before he retires, sources say. About $1M of Pierce’s $3.6M is guaranteed but he could be traded or aggregated into a larger deal. Gives Clippers another asset if they need to use it.

Maybe he can retire a celtic after all

Why shouldn't I be? Ujiri isn't a GM he's the president of basketball operations and is ALSO the GM for all intents and purposes even if there's someone else with the title. The guy is among the best executives in the league, top 5 at the very least IMO. I think having KP in return is reasonable from that standpoint.
