Didn't they leak a couple weeks ago that Houston had something up their sleeves or whatever with some blacked out silhouettes of some guys?

We saw that a couple years ago when Blake shot up in the MVP races. I think that was only like 20-30 games but he was dropping something like 28,9,5 or something along those lines with Chris out. Bringing the ball up the court a lot too. I think injuries since then have slowed him to where he likely wouldn't replicate that again.

You're right, but it'll still be interesting to see what happens over the course of an entire season, and if there was any weight to the rumors that some of those guys didn't liking playing with Paul.

This is gonna be the year of story lines in the NBA. Gonna be a crazy season.

Trying to take on a bigger load, I think Blake would end up injured just like every other season.

According to Scott Agness, Hayward is meeting with the Heat Saturday, Celtics Sunday, and then the Jazz on Monday will be his final meeting.

Lance is so delusional. I remember watching him in Charlotte and idk about giving it his all...he was terrible here. The game I watched live he left the worst impression with me. He stood out for his absolute lack of hustle and constant complaining and missing wide open shots.

Why is all the talk about the Celtics trying to get Griffin? The main need is for a rebounder/rim protector so surely trying to trade for DeAndre Jordan is a better move?

That's why I said with the Pacers lol. He was a key player for our ECF teams during the Heatles' run and when he came back this season he absolutely gave us a spark. Pretty much our whole locker room mentioned that and were happy to have him.

Now, it could be a "contract year" type of thing with us. He had his best season before leaving to Charlotte and now could be playing well because he realizes this is probably his last chance in the NBA. I can't ignore that so we'll see going forward.

The problem with the Jazz is that they're never a free agent destination. So year after year they can only hope to hit in the draft and have to wait for those guys to blossom.

I'm sure Riley will nail that point home.

If the Jazz lose both Hayward and Hill, that's just terrible. But it's business.

Hayward is married with young children. He can't really take advantage of Miami night life.

He might prefer the warmer weather though, after living in Salt Lake all these years.

Those would be reasons enough to take advantage of it.

Carmelo Anthony was married with a young child as well and he certainly took advantage of the Miami nightlife, the Chicago nightlife and he didn't even live/play for those NBA cities. Lord knows what he was/is doing in New York every night.
