That's true, a lot of his meddling screwed things up for the Pacers. It's going to take a while for things to straighten out that's for sure.

              Re: 2017 Offseason Thread

I've heard from a couple different sources the Celtics offered Crowder, and either salary filler (Zeller) or Crowder and another starter (Smart, Bradley), and 1st round picks. Hell I think that's Woj said a couple days ago. And a Boston beat guy said last week.

Woj confirms that the Celtics didn't land PG because Indy didn't want to wait for us to sign Hayward.

Regardless I'd be scared paying someone 40 million a year that has paper ankles. Going to be interesting to see how the tax effects GSW over the next 2 years.

It wasn't just his meddling, his decisions severely screwed us. I give him his due on being a good talent evaluator. He'd be perfect as a scout and I hope that's his main position as the "advisor" that he is now. But man his moves since 13-14 have been questionable as **** and none of them paid off.

I think it's worth the gamble. Championship windows are tough to come by and the Warriors are right in the middle of said window. They have at least another 2-3 years of Finals appearances/championships in them. If they can achieve that and he flames out after 3 years than it was worth it.
