Agreed. I've never liked Waiters, don't think I ever will and again what good does he do for a rebuild? If the goal is hoping to get a top 4 pick and hopefully get lucky enough to land Porter, then Waiters getting hot a few times a year adding a couple additional meaningless wins does nothing for that.

Can Gibson still hit that mid range jumper and get the occasional block here and there?

Haven't watched much of him after the Chi days

Neither Rudy Gay or Paul George is a SG, though. Looks like one of them, if Gay signs, is going to be playing a lot of small ball 4.

And how does Andre Roberson, who is also better suited at SF, fit into their plans?

Absolutely. Don't let the Bulls inept management trading him and Doug for a box of gas station donuts convince you Taj can't do the things he's always done best anymore.

Good for CoJo since he'll finally get an opportunity to be a full-time start (at least for a season).

I'm disappointed the Spurs are bringing back Patty, especially at $12.5 million annually, but if they can either retain Simmons, sign James Johnson and retain or replace (with a equally athletic center) Dedmon then I'm good.

They also need to bring Gasol back at a reasonable (read: tradeable) rate.

Definitely. Taj is still a really good player. He can rebound and hit the mid range jumper. I always loved his game and obviously Thibs still does as well.

I like that deal. Sure people said under 20m is what he should get, but basically 22m isn't bad. Lowry rumors say he might go for 3 years too. DeRozan can opt out in..... 3 years. So Raptors got their window. All in for 3 more years, then look towards Powell, OG, Wright, Poeltl after that.

Hopefully they can trade Joseph and Carroll(T.Young in return?) , and deal JV + 1st +? and add a great 3&D wing player.

Lol no surprise here. Paxson setting up his next few years of scapegoats now that he and his idiot partner Gar have shipped all the other "bad men" out of town. Gar might be next, but then he'll point the fingers at Fred. Hell only reason they haven't really turned them on him already is because they're not going to eat the 3 years he's got left on that contract, especially while they're still paying Thibs. Keep kicking that can down the road John.

While Forman has been teaching the class on survival, behind the scenes the Bulls have been moving pieces that don't bode well for him.

He was probably OKC's second best player by the end of the year honestly. At least on a consistent basis. Kanter could have been that guy but he can't even stay on the floor defensively against teams that abuse him on he high pick and roll, Adams is right there with Taj, if he had just a slightly better offensive game I would give him that edge. Dipo was the best from a talent stand point, but was wildly inconsistent. He either looked like a legit sidekick to Westbrook or like a guy who shouldn't even be getting minutes depending on what night it was.

It was a good move for Minny but I thought Taj and Russ were starting to get that chemistry together and I would have liked to see him stay. I also would have rather saw Minny land Millsap or someone better than Taj. But overall both teams made some great moves.

Rumors saying the Knicks still wanna deal Melo. If they so badly wanna deal him, I wonder where he might go. Might be limited though if he has to stay close to NY area.
