I know it was to clear Mozgov contract. Guess what though, 9/10 we aren't getting FA next offseason anyway. OKC has the potential to be a top 4 seed this season, PG ain't going leave that to play for us. We're not getting LBJ, Boogie etc. We needed to keep the young core & continue to build on that. Even if you wanted to get Mozgov contract off the books, then fine. The exact same deal could've been done at the ASB.

Lakers brass didn't even get to see what Lonzo/D'Lo would look like together. We lost once again, chasing these outdated pipes dreams. Embrace the rebuild & trust the process.

I think Brook and Ball will be a better pairing than with D-Lo. Even though it might be year rental, I like Brook a lot. Also with Lou and Swaggy gone Ingram will get more touches . We drafted some good young guys . Guys that will actually play defense and more competively driven.

Just saw the George trade, very strange deal and seems like Indiana either took less then what they could have gotten or the reports of what other teams like Boston were offering were completely inaccurate. I suppose Sabonis could potentially become something down the line but I doubt it and Oladipo is nothing special with a bloated contract to boot. It screams of a PR move knowing full well they won't compete so might as well bring a local guy home and hope he can help with ticket sales. Miserable trade for Indiana, they got something at least but was so far off what I assumed they might be able to get from Boston had they waited it out a bit that it feels like a panic move.

Man I like him but I don't know. He does have the mid range game but does he bring anything defensively? Isn't he a relatively average sized PF with just decent athleticism?

I was never a JJ fan (former UNC fan) but don't they need at least one shooter? Teague isn't going to hit 3's. Wiggins and his 30% isn't going to scare people.

Idk man I think you at least need some 3 pt shooters on your squad.

Quick look at stats: MIN made the fewest 3 pt shots in the NBA last year
