I heard when he signed his last deal, the Jazz made him go get an offer before they'd match.

So he may have some resentment about how his RFA deal played out.

All legit reasons to explore and I hold nothing against Gordon. Just feel like in recent years the majority of "big time" free agents end up leaving once they start talking with other teams.

I know there are exceptions and Heyward maybe one of them. But generally when everything is great at home you don't start sniffing around. Like I said it's just a hunch.

It a second year option. That was confirmed.

I don't even think those are legit reasons lol. Would you ever talk to other employers in your field if you were happy where you are and knew beforehand you'd make more money staying put? I wouldn't... Just seems like a hassle and a waste of everyone's time. If anything it'd be disrespectful in a way...

He has to have at least some thought of leaving for a better opportunity to win or whatever the reason is. IMO anyway.

My money is still on him staying though, but I usually always give the home team the advantage in these situations anyway lol.

I would if I had serious concerns about the management keeping me happy or my coworkers not being the best at their job, making it harder for me.

Some people actually want to work in a different city, or with other good workers, or with management they respect, over money being the biggest factor.

Absolutely, I meant in terms of if you're fully happy with everything. That's not something you'd be doing if that's the case. Only if you had some concerns, even if it's a slight concern, would you actually seek out other potential opportunities.

Hayward isn't going to waste anyone's time putting billboards up and having them put together a pitch for him and spending hours with them etc. if he didn't have some concerns or other interests. Maybe his wife likes the Florida weather or being close to the beach. Maybe he wants to see if his college coach can sell him on the Celtics and all their assets. I don't know. But if he's 100% happy in Utah, I don't think he'd be visiting other teams. He has to have some thought that those could be better opportunities for his family or his career or both.

This is first time going thru the experience of being a FA. Let that man go thru the process. Even if he's 100% happy, there's no harm in hearing other teams out.

Yea and while the point that most of these top guys who take lots of meetings end up leaving is true, don't think it means anything. We all know those guys took lots of meetings that were real longshots and more just to hear them out/go through the process than teams that they were actually realistically going to go to.

Jazz aren't some no brainer what else could you even ask for situation, but he could definitively still think they are the best situation available for him, and he just wants to go through the process to be sure.

                        Gallo leaning towards Clippers.

Heck, if they can bring back Blake and possibly sign Rondo, this team might still be Playoff bound.

Health would be a major factor nonetheless.

Danillo Gallinari looking to join the Clippers on a 3 year, 65 million dollar deal. Were going to do a sign and trade, but that's now turning into a three team trade.

                          Denver gets Paul Milsap

                          Clippers get Gallinari

Atlanta gets Diamond Stone, Jamal Crawford and a first round pick

FINALLY these dudes get rid of Crawford. He, along with injuries, really kept them from making the big jump forward over these past few years.

He's the only "untouchable" they had with some trade value, yet they wouldn't ever trade his ***. I was ok with them signing vets, and trading their draft picks because they were obviously in a "win now" position with CP3, Blake, DJ. But not trading Crawford was horrible. Dude always came in and fired away, killed every bit of team flow or momentum they had. Sure if he was hot he's nearly unguardable, but far too often that wasn't the case. They really could have fixed their weakness at SF, or built their bench up a little better by moving him.

Man needs to be fired lol

Bucks need guys that can create and then make shots. Rose doesn't. And he'd be worse in our defensive system than Jabari currently is.

If it's like a 2 year, $25ish million deal and we shed Delly/Henson/Hawes (not all of them but maybe two) and no draft pick, I'd still be mad but could move on. If we give up a draft pick of any kind for Rose, I'll be very upset.
