Main roster wise ya, but overall, baseball is easier isn't it? Mlb,aaa,aa,a, rookie ball and so many more. Even if don't make it, I'd be bragging if I was a draft pick of an MLB team.

Though imagine what it'd be like being backup qb in NFL. Play 1 game a year and get hundreds of thousands of dollars.

**** ain't sweet in the minor leagues man. Especially if you're just single A. Some of the stuff you say sometimes Maj I just can't lol

Baseball is probably the hardest to make it in as you could just toil away in the minors for years before you ever see The Show if at all. Add to that the fact that a lot of minor leaguers get paid like ****, unless you know you're a Bryce Harper, Clayton Kershaw talent why would you pursue baseball? I remember reading somewhere that some minor leaguers make between 3,000 and 7,500 for the season. That's insane for a professional athlete.

Yeah, the minor leagues are trash. They don't even have to pay postseason bonuses. There's a lawsuit that's been going on for a few years trying to fight them on the low salaries. Even the NHL's minor league (AHL) makes $45,000 a year minimum.

Yeah, my friend's brother has been in the minors for like 10 years now and his wife is begging him to retire and get a real job so that they can support their family.

It's gotta be so rough being a career minor leaguer; he always feels like he's close to catching his break but it'll probably never happen.

Yeah, 3 levels of Minor League Ball and then no guarantee of even getting called up to the Pros even if you've been drafted? No thanks, especially with that terrible pay.

Got a better chance of seeing the field as a 7th round or undrafted player in the NFL and at least with the NBA, if you're in the D-League, you're one step from getting that 10 Day Contract in the NBA.

Unsurprisingly Milsap opts out. Not sure what the Hawks were thinking not trading him at the deadline. Maybe they can re-sign him, but I'm not so sure

Boy That team is crazy. They lost Al and Paul and end up with Dwight.

LeBron effect. He's beaten Hawks twice, their core is gone. Beat Pacers twice, looks like George is gone. Beat Raptors twice, Lowry might be gone.

Is someone going to offer him a lot more than the $21 million Milsap opted out of?

Maybe he'll get a 4 year deal but he's going to be 33 in the middle of the season.

Paul Millsap is the guy Toronto should be throwing money at instead of Serge Ibaka.
