Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Bron got some young help coming in:
Cavs have agreed to sign 2015 draft pick Cedi Osman, sources said. Deal is 3 years, $8.3 million plus about $700,000 going to Euro buyout.

Plus side. Zach Lavine says he's ahead of schedule and will be ready for training camp.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
The Warriors have had easily the best offseason of any defending champion ever. Like they somehow got better at shooting, and grabbed a rim protecter? LeBron bout to have to put up 45 a game to beat these guys.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Would LeBron really leave Cleveland again? Because of Dan Gilbert, and their lack of a relationship, I can see him leaving again.
But would their be fan backlash?

Jazz sign Jonas Jerebko, 2 years $8.2M. Really liking our moves this off-season even with Hayward gone. Jerebko is a perfect fit beside either Gobert or Favors.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
This is easily the worst offseason since Jordan retired the second time back in '98. If this latest report out of the Chicago Tribune is correct (which is hit or miss with Cowley).
If they do this it makes a completely **** trade even more ****. They will have essentially traded TWO first round picks that they had in the 2014 draft that could have been Zach Lavine (pre injury), Jusuf Nurkic, Gary Harris, Rodney Hood, Clint Capela, Nikola Jokic, hell even Jordan Clarkson was available with those two picks. Instead they traded the two picks to Denver for the 11 and instead of taking Dario Saric that went 12th, they take Doug McDermott. They then turn around and essentially trade McDermott for Cam Payne and could potentially be getting rid of him too making Anthony Morrow the only one left on the roster from the trade that sent Doug and Taj to the Thunder. I don't even think the Knicks could be that idiotic if they tried.

An older gentleman wearing a sharp, expensive suit knocks gingerly on a door.
A voice from inside speaks. "Come in."
The gentleman slowly opens the door. Bad jazz fills the air.
In one corner of the room sits a replica of the NBA Championship trophy. It's covered in oily fingerprints, a disgusting nest of germs most likely. But the rest of the room is immaculate. Daddy's money spent wisely on the finer things.
The seated man, the one that asked the gentleman to come in, turns his chair. In his hand a beer.
"Mr. Dolan, sir, have you heard the latest out of Chicago?" asks the gentleman better known as Steve.
"Yes," Mr. Dolan responds.
"What do you propose we do?"
Mr. Dolan stares directly at Steve for a moment, perhaps to collect his thoughts. Just as suddenly, he smiles.
"Mr. Mills," he says. "Please hold my beer."

Jazz sign Ekpe Udoh, 2 years $6.5M.
Really smart, small contracts Dennis Lindsey is handing out this offseason. I've loved all of our pickups.
