Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Can we just get this **** done? I don't need to hear LeBron complaining about chemistry with all the help he has now.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
I'll believe a deal is finalized when Kyrie is holding a #11 C's jersey during an introductory press conference. Will assume nothing is close to complete until then.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
If all it takes is adding a late 1st along with the original deal, take it and run. Cavs can use that pick along with some other players and pick up another PG.Comment

Yeah IT2 has been treated v badly in all of this... it really sucks but if this deal does fall apart ( I don't think it will) I'm really intrigued by all these offers that alone are better than Jae and the BKN pick. just add a 2nd round pick and get this done.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Cleveland trying to be pennywise and get more value back in this deal. Don't want to be clowning around while (Stephen) King James is still there.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Kyrie waiting so long in the game to ask for a trade is partly what messed all this up. If he asked right the Finals maybe this goes smoother

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
I do think he did a lot for Boston and part of that involved him being emotionally invested in beating the Cavs. He'll be a pro and be a Cav, but I don't buy that a guy like Thomas wasn't uncomfortable about it at first.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Haven't seen it mentioned here.
Bucks reportedly ready to offer a package including Brogdan and Middleton I'd The deal with the Celtics falls through.
Thoughts? I didn't see much of the Bucks last year so I'm not sure what to make of this offer. I've seen some Brogdan highlights and I remember one game against the Celtics where he played very well, he looks promising.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Good article from Zach Lowe breaking the trade down:
The Celtics are offering the Cavs a lot for Kyrie Irving. Zach Lowe examines why that might work out well.
Main nuggets of info:- Bucks have offered Brogdon and Middleton, but no 1st round pick yet. But it's believed that they'd include a pick if that were enough to get it done.
- Phoenix isn't interested anymore
- Nuggets probably could have gotten him but weren't willing to make a strong offer.
- Believes Danny Ainge acknowledges how big of a risk Isaiah's hip is based on the fact that the Brooklyn pick is unprotected
- Boston didn't want Jimmy Butler because they think he and Hayward wouldn't get along personality-wise
- Boston is hoping to use Kyrie to recruit Anthony Davis if he ever becomes available

2017 Offseason Thread
As already mentioned in here a few days ago and now again thanks to Zach Lowe. The Bucks offer is better. Middleton is already Crowder (or better) and Brogdon is what you hope you're getting out of that Brooklyn pick. Add in the first round pick they'd include and Cavs are set for now and when LeBron walks out that door.
