    Re: 2017 Offseason Thread

Your first sentence basically kills the rest of the argument, in the context of the NBA, because in this league, if the players are really against it, it's not going to happen, and it definitely wouldn't stick if it made it through in the first place.

I'm not sure I agree that the deed requires more punishment but I don't have all of the information. I assume the NBA does. Like Pack said, a deal was reached, not to do Z Bo a favor, but because the prosecution didn't think the case was worth taking to court. If that was their conclusion, maybe Silver heard something that said he didn't need to dole out a punishment. Maybe he runs an entertainment business and leaves legal issues to the legal system.

As far as Josh Brown and Ray Rice, those are almost points in Silver's favor. Those were 2 Goodell suspensions, and they didn't accomplish anything other than a giant **** storm.

Z Bo has been in a lot of ****, I was reading some articles about him, he may be the most interesting man in the NBA lol.

Randolph didn't get any punishment from Silver because the charge was reduced to a misdemeanor. If it was a felony and he was found guilty, then he would've been hit with some sort of suspension. I found that doing a quick Google search, BTW.

And if you're going to bring up the punishments from off the court/field transgressions, the NFL is the worst example you can use considering they can't even get their own **** right.

One more full week of no Basketball to get thru and then Camp/Preseason starts up.

In other words, the year the Nets get in that *** and win this mother******' ship.

Restricted free agent Mason Plumlee has agreed to a three-year, $41M deal to return to Denver, league sources tell ESPN.

This Kyrie drama is funny stuff. Don't really care that he didn't tell LeBron cause it's not like LeBron is telling anyone where he's going. My problem with Kyrie though is he tries way too hard to sound intelligent but he ends up rambling without actually saying anything. "If you are very much woke, there is no such thing as distractions". Like wtf does this even mean? Lol. Dudes are saying he has some Jayden Smith in him and I don't disagree.

I watched the interview. He just danced around every question and that's fine, I kind of expect that from him, since he doesnt want to burn any bridges.

                  It's that New reality.

I think anyone 25 and younger should be complaining to these dudes. They make under 25s look dumb to people in the over 30 group.

Y'all can't be allowing this mess to represent you.

The fact that he's getting asked these questions and being interviewed like this is dumb to begin with. He's just an athlete who asked for a trade. All this wanting to find some reason why and worrying about who's feelings were hurt is just silly. He's dancing around the questions and not giving any sort of relevant answer to anything, but the fact that they are asking these questions to begin with trying to make this into some sort of drama series is pointless. He's a professional athlete who asked for a trade. Move past it already. If I were him I wouldn't have even agreed to do any sort of discussion knowing how lame all these questions would be.

My team, lol. We all know I'm Bron-only. I don't have any beef with Kyrie the basketball player, I commend his mamba mentality and his anti-KD approach. I just think between this, the flat earth and other **** he's said, he's getting a bit annoying and cringe-worthy

He pretty much told Max Kellerman to shut up so I'm very happy with that interview.
