Y'all need to stop shoveling dirt on Wade. He can and will still start wherever he lands. Just in his last year in Miami dude was looking like old DWade. Don't let last year fool you. He was here trying to take a backseat to Jimmy to teach him how to be a alpha. That and playing for an idiot who has no business being a head coach at the NBA level was Wade's issue last year. He's gonna be a big contributor to a contender. Guaranteed

If he goes to Cleveland he’s obviously going to start. The only other options are JR Smith and Kyle Korver’s grandpa.

I’d rather he not come to Cleveland, but if he does they needs to find a landing spot for Shump. Get some help where they actually need it instead of running 4 guys at the off guard spot, 5 if you include Rose in a sixth man role who plays the 1/2 spot once IT returns.

Which is why I am glad the pick is now theirs and no longer ours. The way I see it, Brooklyn slightly improved, while most of the other cellar dwellers continually became worse as the offseason unfolds. Hope my instincts prove correct and y'all do enough to drive the value of the pick down. Make things harder on Cleveland to add help (if they choose to trade the pick), or come June to excellerate the rebuild if LeBron decides to leave.

I don't think he was any worse for yall than he was the year prior in Miami honestly. He just isn't very good anymore; especially if the ball is taken out of his hands, which it certainly will be as a starter on any of these teams.

Tyrone Lue is saying Rose will be the starting PG until at least January, so with that in mind, a backcourt tandem of Rose and Wade is going to be absolutely horrific. Considering the roles that they'll be asked to play, they have to be one of the worst starting backcourts in the NBA; and easily the worst among any of the "contenders".

If he were on a team with proper spacing, he could thrive doing his playmaking stuff on-ball and his cuts off-ball, but if he goes to Cleveland, they're going to have 3 non-shooters in the starting lineup, 1 good shooter in Love, and then LeBron. I could see them struggling to be a top 2 seed in the East with that lineup if they don't stagger the minutes correctly.

Edit: JR Smith makes way more sense as a starter for them than Wade does.

Carlisle saying Nerlens Noel will probably be coming off the bench this season. Ouch.

Says Noel is fine with it; I guess we shall see. Certainly not what Noel had in mind when he signed his qualifying offer.

Yep, Wade cant be the top option anymore, but he sure the heck aint washed up. Wade can definitely have a positive impact wherever he goes, and his impact is much more than his play on the court.

I see that it's that time of year to create an entire narrative based on one pic lol. A few years back LeBron was anorexic and weak af. Giannis was 7'2 with 300lbs of muscle.
