Very strong chance he doesn't play 82 career games before his rookie deal is up.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
I just want to see other teams rise up in the East. I enjoy the Cavs but I would like to see them get competition besides the Celtics, although Irving getting traded was the best thing to happen to the conference.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
James Young waived by the Bucks. Has to be one of the biggest busts in recent years.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
I think Warren got a big extension as well.
Harris had a huge improvement, 50/42 shooting from the field, 15 PPG.
Maybe it's too much. Don't know what the market for SG would have been next year when he hit RFA.
Supposedly extending now allows Nuggets to give him 4 more years instead of 5.
If it had come down between paying and keeping Harris vs. Murray, it might have been an interesting decision.
But they're staggered so they should be able to extend Murray in a couple of years too.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
But James Young is the only one who can’t even stay in the league, and has an average of 2PPG lol..
Exum has had injuries, but those other guys play meaningful minutes.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Nah. Tj Warren can hoop. It's just he was in small forward hell in Phoenix these past couple of years so they've been alternating him at the 3 spot and small ball 4 off and on.
Regardless he gets buckets and he's not really an iso player like that either. He gets his in the flow of the offense and off cuts to the hoops. He's also injury prone as well.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Warren has good midrange game.
He's got a real good pull up jumper from about 15-feet out.
But his 3-point shooting is not too good, as he's around 30% or less for his career.
Still for the #14 pick, he could be a solid rotational player.
Not sure how he would fit in with Josh Jackson slotted in for the 3 though.
But Phoenix extended him to 2022 so they must have plans.Comment

If Boston can get away with playing Tatum at the 4 Phoenix should have no problems playing Jackson at the 4. Especially given his defensive energy. Jackson can straight out make plays.Comment
