I usually don't like low IQ players, but during the last couple of years Clarkson was was one of the only players who always played hard even if he didn't always play smart. If the front office blows him out, they better be sure about the assets coming back.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
We'll see how the rest of the series goes but one take on last night's game is that Lebron having to guard KD affected his overall game.
He didn't guard KD well and it didn't help his offense either.
If this pattern holds, maybe the EC teams will look to target big time scorers at the 3.
Of course Toronto has that in DeRozan but the Cavs just trapped him or let Shumpert or others guard him.
I think DeRozan has had good games against the Cavs in the regular season but in the playoffs, they couldn't make Lebron work on defense. Instead Lebron mostly ignored Powell IIRC.
Boston doesn't have high-scoring wings either, unless Brown can take a big step up.
Indy had George but again, Lebron didn't have to match up against him on defense, just put Shumpert or JR Smith. PG13 had good overall series against them but on key possessions, the Cavs just trapped him with Lebron or he didn't make big shots.
Hmm, George could be huge for one of the EC contenders.Comment

Stop trying to interfere in our **** man. We're landing Bosh so he can go right back out and not even be a help for us.

Chris Paul, who has never reached the conference finals in six seasons with the Clippers, will give serious consideration to joining the Spurs via agency, sources told ESPN.
All-Star point guard Chris Paul intends to give the San Antonio Spurs serious consideration in free agency this summer in the event he decides to leave the LA Clippers, according to league sources.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Saw this earlier, didn't even bother to share since it's such a bull**** report. No way to really validate this report. Doesn't really say anything. If he does decide to leave LA he's going to consider SA? Seriously?

I'm confused lol. Why wouldn't he consider SA? You don't think it's a good fit or something?

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Partly what Boltman laid out and also the absurdity of this "report." If the Spurs had the means to sign him if he leaves LA of course he'd consider them. This is a report made up of nothing. First, it has nothing about whether he'll leave or not because the reporter has no clue. Second, as of this moment the Spurs have no way to get Paul, so who's he telling he'll seriously consider them since they aren't even in position to get him? This is one of those bs reports where you throw some ambiguous stuff out there and no matter what happens you can't be called wrong on your "reporting" because either he stays with the Clips, he signs with the Spurs or he signs elsewhere, either way you can say he considered the Spurs before making his decision.

Ok I see the tone in how you said that now... I was reading it like you were questioning why he'd consider them.
