Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Pacers are reportedly taken back by Paul George wanting to opt out after next season. Plan was to reload for a run at the ECF this upcoming season.
Had me until James Young. Kid is going to be a star.Comment

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
The Pacers sound like the company that treats employees bad and everyone that works there hates the place and can't wait to leave, but the company doesn't know anything about it because everyone still shows up everyday so things must be going great.

That would be the lightest backcourt in NBA History by far.
They'd make Steph and Klay look like Samuel L. Jackson and Wesley Snipes by comparison.

Re: 2017 Offseason Thread
Taken back is strong, I doubt that. You can't be that shocked. We almost traded the guy last season because of the reports so not sure how shocking it can be.
That said it did seem like the plan for this year was to go all in for one more season and hope to convince him to stay. Pritchard said this at his introduction press conference.. him and PG had dinner together after Bird left, talked out their options and PG never brought up the possibility of trading him or him wanting to leave. Even last Thursday PG was talking about the "goal remains the same, win a championship in Indy" blah blah blah, "me and Pritchard are on the same page", etc. Even was specifically asked if he wanted to stay in Indy and he said "of course." So yeah, the timing of the news is odd to say everything he did then come back and say he's not giving it another season and is going to leave lol.

Supposedly Tatum and Isaac have guarantees they're going Top 5, that means Fox is going to fall because I don't see Jackson doing so."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Wouldn't be surprised if Isaac went third. Started hearing name thrown out more today. And he did work out for us before Fultz did.
