Just a top 4 pick? What are the future assets? IMO if he doesn't get a solid young player involved yes I think it'd be a bad move. Kristaps may not be a superstar right now, but he's 21. You don't see the potential there? He's already pretty good and you're going to trade him for unknowns?

If I want to believe the sky is falling, then that statement means the Knicks are actively shopping him and moves are being made. If I think Woj is a snake, that statement is ambiguous enough to piss me off because in reality it could mean any number of things. Lol that could mean he replied to an offer and said no.
Are your sources still saying that he's still throwing **** up against the wall and seeing what sticks though?

Y'all can even go back and check, I've been on the Porzingod bandwagon the past two seasons and talked him up in the game threads nearly every time I've watched him play... but this is going overboard, people are acting like this dude is untouchable when he hasn't even proven that he's made the jump to an all star level player, much less superstar or franchise altering status.

      Oh thee irony.

You were doing the same thing with Devin Booker just a few days ago. Gassing him like he was the second coming of James Harden and Klay Thompson combined so hush up man, lol.

The Suns already said they aren't trading Booker for Porzingis.

I don't even know why they would anyway. The point of adding Porzingis to Phoenix is to have him play alongside Booker. You don't trade one young hot commodity for another when you don't have others.

Why in the world would you ever sell low on a guy like him though? Just based on him adding strength over the next couple of years he's going to be a 20/10 floor spacer who can protect the rim. His value is not going to go down from it's current place, it'll only go up unless he gets the injury bug. There is no point in trading him right now outside if it being a petty, ego-driven move unless you get a king's ransom for him.

I would trade that 3rd pick for Porzingas . Cs already have Jaylen Brown. That's if the reports are true

Yup. That's how the rumor mill works. My spoilered post goes into this. I can't do anything other than show what I've seen, if people continue to believe this guy to be infallible, it's not on me. Let me know when the trade goes through.

I just don't understand why Phil would trade KP just because of a exit meeting? Call me cynical, but there has to be more to it than that. Phil can't be that anal retentive can he?

I still believe it's a mind game and this is Phil's retaliation for KP missing the meeting. It's so petty, it's unbelievable. I don't believe he has any intention of trading him unless he gets blown away by and offer and if that happens then, hey, I'll take it.

Isola had the only good tweet of his life last night when he compared Rose skipping town, missing a game and barely getting in trouble for it while KP might get traded for blowing off an end-of-season meeting. Really sums up this dumpster fire of an organization.

I certainly don't think he or anybody else is infallible. They're no different than GMs in that they won't hit on everyone of their moves, but the ones that hit on 60% of them, they're the ones you can rely on, in comparison to others. But then again, you've basically already said you don't trust reporters based on how NY Media has covered the team so I can somewhat understand the skepticism for this particular report.

But I do know that over the years, he's earned the benefit of the doubt to not brush off anything he says. Honestly, I can't think of anything he's reported over the years where you can say he's was just pulling it out of thin air. Or anybody from Yahoo for that matter.

That's super petty if true. I can definitely see Phil playing mind games. That's his thing. But I think all of his "Zen" stuff is backfiring on him now. Maybe the Lakers were right in now hiring him back, now that I think of it.

The source on this was just too flimsy for me. Then the fanning the flames... I dunno, ESPN is gonna love this guy.

We really need to get rid of Phil and get someone who will lie to the camera. Being truthful leaves too many opportunities for criticism, makes sense why athletes give such mundane answers and don't feel safe speaking their mind. I've been (against all odds) calling for Hinkie for a while but if Phil hits on another draft pick, causes a circus so that no one wants to sign here and we're forced to rebuild through the draft, I'll be happy when he leaves.
