Has Aldridge said anything about missing Portland? It's been the opposite right?

Why would Portland put itself in that spot? Trade for the guy who made it clear he didn't want to be there and share the spotlight with the guy that's still running things there?

Yup that nothing is happening.

I'm clear on one thing, if it happens it's going to make Boston fans go nuts over how much was given up and Phil Jackson will tweet out: "I told y'all I knew what I was doink."

Great signing. He started for a bit early in the year, and got significant minutes throughout. He's a pretty good "point guard". Don't think he'll score much but great with running the offense and pretty good on D. I'd say he's exactly what the Wiz need (especially at this price since it's the backup role).

A good pickup from everything I've seen. He seems like a great facilitator which is something the bench never had last year. Now we just need a mid-ranger scorer to pair with Bojan (if he comes back) and the bench should be OK.

Opposing executives say Minnesota is considering using #7 pick as part of package for Jimmy Butler, per Ian Begley.

That could actually be a good move depending what else they give up. They're going to be nice in 2-3 years, but they'll need a vet like Jimmy to lead.

Him going to Boston has always been the darkest timeline so I immediately made myself believe it was most likely. They've always had the only package capable IMO of prying him away. If he doesn't go there, I can't see it. If Phil can't get the package he wants out of them, there's just no reason to make a move at all. It doesn't seem likely to me because of the way it seems like teams value picks. If you won't come off the 18 Brooklyn pick for a 21 year old who people project to be a superstar, nothing is moving you. I think we're in a perfect (maybe imperfect for us) storm where the situation makes sense, and the assets make sense, but they won't give them up, so we just keep going through the motions. Seems like the Celtics have been attached to everybody the last few years.

Looks like Phil is asking for #3, BRK 18, Brown and Crowder.

According to a Knicks source, Jackson is asking for the third overall pick in Thursday's draft as well as next year's Brooklyn pick along with Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder. This version of the deal would not include Boston taking on Joakim Noah's contract.

The Celtics feel the price is far too high but they are open to tweaking the deal to include just one draft pick, either this year's No. 3 or next year's Brooklyn pick.

Isola has less Knicks sources than Woj, ignore that.

Begley has the last Celtics offer to us at No 3, a player, and a lottery pick they think they can pick up tonight. That's not even close IMO.

Still need to worry about Porter, hoping he wants to stay at a reasonable price.

We'll see. I'm not sure he's worth the max unless he steps it up (again) this year and keeps hitting his 3s in the playoffs.

I'm really interested to see if Kelly Oubre can make a big leap. I love his defense, but he needs offensive work and confidence.

We need to start worrying about Gortat, though. I had a dream the other night Boogie and D.Lo ended up in DC in 2018.

Man this offseason definitely the craziest since 2010. Got a dude in here calling out Woj and **** like a typical garbage reporter that pulls **** out of his ***. Woj isn't perfect, but I definitely don't think he's the throw **** against the wall and hope it sticks kind of reporter. The Vertical staff is above that garbage. If they're reporting something there, it's because a legit source is giving it to them. Now maybe that source is feeding them something that may be inaccurate they want out there for a specific reason, but it ain't Woj and crew just sitting around with nothing to do for the day so throwing some **** out there.

Then why didn't Woj or the Vertical guys report that the Lakers had been shopping D'Lo but didn't get any interest until after he was traded? I'm pretty sure Woj knew but didn't report it.

Woj is the man.

But he started this nonsense knowing that teams were calling the Knicks about Porzingis. Not the other way around.

Now that the floodgates are open...Phil is playing his zen crap publically playing up a trade knowing full well that Porzingis and his brother/agent are watching just to show them who's boss knowing full well that Porzingis wants to stay in NY.
