His style of play sorta does remind me of J-Kidd, but Kidd in college was just fast and looked like he always belonged in the NBA. It was crazy to see him put his head down and just go, but I see the same thing on Zo on breaks.

The kid has listened to his trainers and looks like a complete team player. He pushes the ball fundamentally well and I can see why he fits Magic's we want showtime back type of vision.

He's going to need to get stronger for sure and as long as he plays his game and keeps growing i think he'll gain players respect pretty quickly.

He may even develop faster than Ingram to be honest.

The guy asking his grandpa questions was kinda annoying for some reason.

      Lonzo's grandpa...

        Re: 2017 NBA Draft

So, I see everyone is talking about the Kings having a great draft. Am I really the only one who just partially agrees with it?

First of all: Fox seems to be a great guy. His defense is great, his speed fits the way PGs should play today and his drives are great for his body. But his jumpshot is really a concern for me. It's the same story with Wall, who just became effective after his shot was falling better. But even he was a better shooter when he came out.
But I could get why you have to take him. He seems like a guy who will work his *** off to get better in the game and he gives the franchise the needes culture. And it gives your team the first real PG since Bibby(Sorry Tyreke).

But why trading down in what everyone said was a 10 guy draft? Why don't just take Monk, even just as an asset? I don't see anything in Justin Jackson to make me believe that he will have a special NBA carrer.
And even if Giles works out: Isn't WCS exactly the best case scenario for him? Where is the upside in taking another big man who blew both his knees out just for the hope that he could become what you already have? I understand that you want to take a gamble there, but why not just taking OG Anunoby? Same story, but at least a position of need.

Don't get me wrong: It's great to read something good and hopefull about the Kings for a change. But I just don't see it.

WCS best caee scenario felt like Tyson Chandler to me. Athletic/Long defensive big man who can catch lobs on offense. Giles before the injuries was more like Chris Bosh with better handles.

I actually like Lonzo and can tolerate LaVar. The only real problem I have with the Ball family is LaMelo, I don't care how young he is that's a punchable *** face.
