ben wallace something people should know...

Being a michigander, and being about 55 miles from auburn hills, and also someone who was at the game last night, people outside the state should know that just last week Ben Wallace buried his eldest brother and I can guarantee you that his emotions were very elevated last night. I also noticed that not one player from the Pacers wanted to take on Ben. This comes down to one thing. The thug mentality of todays professional athletes. Now before anyone say I'm a biggot, I am a 30+ male of color. Ron Artest is a out and out thug, along with Iverson, along with stepen jackson, along with carmelo anthony, etc.. These guys just don't get it. They will make more $$ then 85% of the GP (general population) and yet they still want to be thugs gangstas. Enjoy the money you have and act like professionals. Just walk your *** of the court and go into the locker room. One more thing. Auburn Hills is not ****ing DETROIT. Auburn Hills is on of the most affluent places in Michigan, stop f---king dumping on Detroit.

Where do you think the majority of the fans come from Auburn Hills or Detroit? Bottom line the situation had pretty much come to a stop, until a fan threw an object at a player. That fan doesn't throw an object this becomes a non-issue. Congrats Detroit Fan..

            Starting ANOTHER thread was unnecessary.

And I bet you that you NEVER considered Stephen Jackson a "thug" before last night's game.

You're a Pistons fan, plain and simple.

I don't care if it was in the inner city or the burbs, it is what it is.

Act like professionals. Let a man throw some stuff on you or spit on you in the grocery store and see how calm and decent you are.

No disrespect or anythink my friend and I do mean this in the best way. I'm from the Detroit area and Detroit is 85% black. Now the more you get past 8 mile it gets more and more white. By the time you get to Auburn Hills it is pretty much white. I'm am by no means letting the idiot fans off the hook. I was at the game and when Artest laid on the scorers table he put the headphones on for the radio broadcast for the pacers and that pissed off a lot of people in the stands. The city of Detroit is an very easy target for critisism, but Detriot and Michigan is a very tough sport city and state, we will not let anyone from an opposing team disrepect the fans of this great state.
