I think its more like Wade has stepped over Carmelo. Carmelo is essentially doing what he did his rookie year, and thats just not up to par with the ridiculous starts Wade and 'Bron are having. Carmelo has more help in Kmart, but so does Wade. Thats why I think Lebron has made the biggest jump. the team on paper doesnt even look better than last year, and while im sure cavs fans believe if they started last year with the team they ended with, they wouldve been in the playoffs, I dont buy that. Its just that Lebron is out of his mind right now. But back to Wade, I think alot of people give Shaq too much credit as far as his role in Wade's development. Lebron James is doing great. Last year, everyone totally convinced me that Carmelo as better than Lebron, and Lebron only could dunk.
But now he's adjusted, and I seriously think he can make the Cavs a playoff team. Prolly won't get past the 1st round thoughXbox 360 GamertagRAW 910

I want to see how both of them handle it when they struggle this year. Both are hot out of the gates but I want to see just how well they handle it. Carmelo failed that test miserably, heres hoping these two don't endure the same thing. They are both just too exciting. I knew ESPN and TNT and ABC were going to force feed us Miami this year, but Wade makes it bearable. Its all the undeserved teams like the Nets vs Clippers tomorrow, while this marks the 2nd season in a row the Wizards get NO national coverage.....well, you know what they say, respect has to be earned, not given....Comment

Tha_Kid, how can you not buy into the fact that the Cavs would have made the playoffs if they would have had their team together? They missed the playoffs by 1 game. 1 game. With Ricky Davis on the team, they were horrible. Got off to a 6-19 start. I know that without a doubt, if the Cavs would have made the trade last offseason, they could have at least got off to a 10-15 start, which would have been good enough for the playoffs considering the second half of the season. Ricky Davis was a fungus with this team. He was too selfish, and way too intimidating for a young Lebron James. The Cavs were the hottest team after the AS break, with the improved team. They would have made the playoffs at least as a 7 seed. Remember, before McInnis went down, they were holding the 5-6 spot.Twitter - WTF_OS
